From sarbh! Whether you're celebrating, have celebrated, or are going to celebrate, I hope you have/had a fantastic holiday. I myself am off to make some tea and wait in giddy anticipation for Santa Claus.
So, I asked for 'sexy' pictures of Bob in my last post (I'm afraid I didn't use them, sorry ladies) for this project. I don't know where this idea came from, but I don't think it turned out half bad. Could be better, yes, but not half bad.
This is my first attempt at an icon set. Well, to be used by others. Some I really like and some are just...meh. Back in the day I used to be pretty good at making icons, but the art of icon making has evolved so much and I haven't kept up with the changes so it is what it is.
Basically, here's some icons I made that aren't anything special. I hope you enjoy a few of them anyway.
As lonelybrit has reminded those of you over at slacken_ties, next Wednesday marks a momentous occasion: Mr Robert Byron Hardy's 26th birthday. There shall be, if any one of you is worth your fangirling stripes, a spamming of at least goodly sized proportions there. So if you're a member of the legions, do your part! And, if I may be so bold, perhaps crosspost to sarbh? I feel it seems bad form to solicit posts by promoting another community but it does get quiet around here, and I figure I might as well hog some glory.
For my part, I'm probably doing an MS_Paint or perhaps the Secret SARBH Project. I don't mean to be cryptic when I mention the Secret SARBH Project, it's just I want it to be a surprise.

Point: Bob's birthday on Wednesday 16 August! Post something at slacken_ties if you're there, and at sarbh after you're done so we can get at least a wee bit of talk going, cos honestly, what kinda Bob Appreciatory Society would we be if we posted nothing on Bob's birthday!
Nothing fancy, but this picture over at bob_daily was crying out to be iconed. Until people with more photoshop skill have at it, here are few basic offerings.
I have something to DE-preciate Bob for. It pains me to say this, but the reason pains me even more.
So.
I was reading some magazine at Powell's today, Reverbtron or Me So Indie or something like that. There's a short feature with Franz on tour, mostly from Alex's POV. In Brooklyn Bob goes off to visit some friends, and Alex imparts this horrifying piece of information:
Last year on tour Bob did not wash his hair for 100 days.
That's over three months.
HOWEVER. I am slightly loath to believe this, as one assumes Bob took showers while on tour, and when taking a shower your hair gets wet anyway. So at least there's that.
