AUTHOR'S NOTES: I don't really know what this is. It was meant to be a mirror image/companion piece to this AU fic I wrote back in '04, that ended up sitting on my hard drive for two years until I got a yen to work on it again. Recently I was reading over Tokyo Babylon 7 for RP research and was struck with a renewed desire to see Subaru get some to make up for the fact that his life is such shite, so when I started working on this again it turned into something a bit more smutty than I originally envisioned so... now I'm not sure what I think of it or if I'll continue with the story as I intended, but here it is. It stands pretty well on its own, so in the meantime, hopefully it's still entertaining.

AUTHOR'S NOTES: Just to be clear, this is a Yohji-centric fic with a smattering of the other boys moving throughout. 'Itou Ryou' is just the name Yohji takes after he wakes up in the hospital following the events of Gluhen (as per Side B canon). That's about the only thing this takes from Side B, as I'm still bitter that Omi and Yohji aren't making any appearances beyond brief flashbacks and more importantly, I can't read Japanese and therefore don't feel comfortable writing the characters. Consider this an AU beginning the moment we fade to black on Aya and his friend the NYC mailbox.

This fic was started as an intro to a timeline that popped into my head after I watched Gluhen a second time about two years ago. I wrote a paragraph, set it down, and somehow ended up picking it back up yesterday and the damn thing just sort of wrote itself. It takes place on the same timeline as One More Murder, which is still *ehem* missing its final scene, but this one can stand pretty much on its own so I feel it's all good.

Last but not least, this is for thetwotrees, who put up with me angsting over what the hell I thought I was doing writing Weiss fic again, encouraged me to get the hell on with it already and spot checked when I was done. You win at life, hon. ♥

the Fairview Project has been updated. Games You Play Chapter 1 & Chapter 2 are up and running.

We are now officially at 91 pages, and over 43,000 words. I can stop re-editing the same three scenes that have been in editorial limbo for a few weeks ad infinitum, and Haru has a brand new shirt on for the first time in six months.

Oh. My. God.

We keep this up, Haru and Taira might actually speak to one another sometime soon. Ahahahahaha.

As some of you may have noticed, Sephy and I deleted our personal journals. We had yet another graphics thief pop up who gacked not only a chunk of one of Sephy's layouts but one of her entries in its entirety for her Greatest Journal, and frankly that was the last straw. We'll both be continuing to post to our fic journals because we frankly can't not, so don’t panic and think we've died, I just draw the line at identity theft. If I can calm down we might actually have something for you tonight, or at the very latest, tomorrow.

Sorry if this seems completely off the wall, there's not much I can do about the situation. :\

This has already been posted to my regular journal, so lo siento to everyone who gets it twice (or four times considering that sephyelysian is about to spam too).

I just finished up recoding the Fairview Project, which was not as neat and tidy as I'd like and therefore driving me insane. Now it looks a bit nicer, and sephyelysian and I have been working our asses off to actually be productive, so Mercy is complete (and we ended up tacking things on to the already released bits and rewriting a little, so this may look familiar and er... distinctly not at the same time. Also the prologue to the second story, Games You Play is up. Chapter 1 just needs a slight revision and that should be up sometime in the next few days. Possibly Chapter 2 as well, I can't remember how much we have written.

C&C is worth its weight in gold on this one, and since I have to say it every time, these are original concepts and characters so please, for the love of all that is holy hands off. >D

After much time in coding hell these past couple of days, the SUBARU/KAMUI SITE sephyelysian and I have been threatening people with for months is up and running.

Kill me now, for the [br] tags have once again stolen my soul. *cries for it* But er... I'm actually kind of proud of this site. We put ourselves out, and I think it's better for it.

[ the Fairview Project ]

This project is based on World on Fire, a vampire RPG that was run for most of last year with the Fallen Icons crew. Thanks to kittyling's graciously allowing us to continue to use her characters, we're in the process of streamlining and novelizing some of the storylines in play on that RP. This project means a lot to all of us, as we've had to fight hard over the last year to make it happen, and it is only through the kind assistance of several very indulgent people that we've been able to get the research necessary done. So additional thanks to windschaser, our kinder than thou editor, and nezumishi the poor victim of our language questions, and everyone else who's had to listen to us natter on in the past few months about a story that wasn't seeing the light of day.

There's a bad pun in there somewhere.

This site is going to be in a continual state of update because we had planned to post each story as we finished it but events have thwarted that at least for the first story, which will be posted a chapter at a time. We hope to have the second story up in its entirety by the time the first is done.

The good news is that the rest of the fic is far goofier, and we're done killing people after this. Technically we even un-kill some people by chapter one. XD

Also, if you really hate Kamui/Subaru, I wouldn't recommend reading this. The prologue is fairly K/S free, but the rest of the fic focuses on them as much as it does Suoh and Nokoru.
