FREE AT LAST
After 5 years, 7 months and 11 days i am leaving my current job. i gave notice this week. i was kind of surprised at the reactions i got. alot of people were upset that i was leaving. even my director. i figured her reaction would be more along the lines of "dont let the door hit you on the way out". the one question that i wasnt asked was "why". whenever anyone leaves people know why.

i am going to a startup. my employee # will be 40. i will be the support lead on the product the company is about the release. i will get to shape the group and the way we do buisness.

i will be going back to normal 8-5 hours (for the last 2.5 years my shift has been 4pm-1am). normal holidays, days off, perhaps a social life.

so next thrusday at the gigerman the beer will flow freely.
