I'm bored. I really need to update in here and in hashishinahooka. Hashishinahooka is my main LJ, and I have no idea what to do with this one. I'll figure it out in the coming days. I should also have a new layout for both coming up soon.
So, just to update you on what's been going on:
-I'm a street teamer. I currently belong to Fueled By Ramen's street team. I'm going to join the Live Nation street team soon. I'm also looking to volunteer at Warped Tour. If anyone knows of any other music-related projects I could do, let me know.
-I'm going back to school on the 8th! I'm so excited. I changed my major. I am now a Communications and Graphic Design major. Hurray! I can't wait to be back in school. :D
-I met Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship for the third time, and he remembered me. Yay!
-I quit my job about a month ago. My back started to get messed up, so I couldn't do it anymore. I'm currently looking for temp work.
-I am $9,756 in debt! Most of it is from student loans. All of my debt is in good standing though, and I don't have anything bad on my credit report. I don't know what my credit score is though. I need to find $116 by the 6th to pay a bill. That's the only bad thing. Everything else is just gravy.
-I have a few of my concerts for next year lined up. I'm still waiting for a few bands to post Michigan dates.
-Still single. Not really looking for a relationship. I'm too young to be stuck to someone. :)

I am the luckiest person on Earth. Sorry to the rest of you. No one can be as lucky as I am. I'm having the time of my life right now, and I couldn't be happier.
I decided to update in here because I wanted to gloat. Haha, sorry.
I'm going to see The Blood Brothers this Saturday.
I can't wait until The Academy Is... comes to Detroit. Someone is going to have to stop from molesting Becky.
Yeah, um... one of my patients at work is catching my attention. He has the prettiest green eyes ever. He's not all that cute, but his eyes + his extreme geekiness has got me going. He's 30ish, I think. He's a network administator (sp?), and he likes anime. The only thing is he NEVER stops talking. Man, he talks the whole time I'm giving him a massage. Most of the other patients are half asleep. Not this guy. It was funny though, he didn't even know what a massage was. I'm sooooo serious. When he told me, I laughed after he left the room. Let's see. Oh yeah, he did say something that was pretty damn hot the other day. I asked him (like I do all the patients) if I was applying to much pressure. He said, "It's alright. I do well with pain." He didn't say it exactly like it, and it was hotter out his mouth than it is when I write. I'm not even sure he meant anything by it. I just thought it was hot.
Anyways, I'm not doing much else right now. I'm going back to school in January. I'm trying to go to at least one concert a month. This month is The Blood Brothers. Next month is The Hush Sound. Can't wait to see what January will bring!
Umm... that's all.
Oh yeah, mom was trying to set me up with my brother's friend. And my grandmother thinks I'm a lesbian. lol.

October 22, 2006: Cobra Starship @ State Theatre (already paid for: $34)
November 4, 2006: The Blood Brothers @ Majestic Theatre($11)
I'm not going to see Electric Six because they're coming on the 4th of November. Curse you, Aquascum!
Grace and I are only going to the We Are the Universe concert to see Cobra Starship. Yep, we're shelling out $34.05 each just to see one band. I mean, she wants to see Head Automatica too, but if it weren't for CS, we wouldn't even bother.

Okay, my computer has been acting up all day. Well, I had to take the battery out and unplug it twice to get it to stop freezing, and the unthinkable happened! I LOST ALL MY BOOKMARKS IN MOZILLA. *cries* I really needed them! I don't even remember all the links that I had. Now, I have to go find them all over again. This is hell. My computer also smells like burnt rubber. I turned it off earlier, but my computer was frozen, so it didn't turn off. I put it into my backpack, and when I got back from my walk I noticed it was still on. It was fucking burning! I think my precious is starting to get old!

I may not be Mexican, but I really do get upset about this stuff because these stereotypes affect all of us Latinos. In fact, to many people in this country, Hispanic = Mexican. Over and over again, I hear people say, "She was speaking Mexican." MEXICAN is not a langauge. Spanish didn't even come from Mexico. Spanish came from SPAIN.
Oh, and my last being Hernandez does not make me a Mexican. Stop calling me one. You can easily ask, "Are you Latino?" Stop using Mexican as a placeholder for Latino/Hispanic. It's not that hard. In face, they all have the same amount of syllables.
Next time you think it's okay to talk about how Mexicans have a lot of kids in front of me, don't be surprised if I don't talk to you ever again. Again, that's a stereotype that is forced on all Latinos.
Oh, and I'm not talking to anyone on my flist. I'm more or less talking to people I know IRL who will never read this.
I wish this was all I had to say. It goes so much deeper than this...

So I'm sick of being Rosie_Posie_860. I'm getting a new journal. I mean it this time. I think I am going to change my username to blameitonbadluck after the Bayside song. In fact, I will.
I am also doing a Friends Cut. If you want to stay on my flist, add me at my new LJ name. I may add a few of you on my own because I know you're not on LJ a lot, and therefore, may not see this post.
Some updates on my other journals. Today, I am going to post some of my free-writes on my writing journal. That poor journal hasn't seen any action in months. It's sad really.
majnoona_luna really needs some work. I'm going to have to find a better strategy posting in that journal.
You know what's fun about changing my username? I get to make a new layout and new icons! Hoorah for me.
I haven't made a layout in a while. I'm thinking about making my new LJ friends-only, so I can make a Friends Only banner too. Ooo...ahhh. I feel stupid doing that, but I figure that way, I can keep track of who I add and when because I've forgotten how I met a lot of you.

Ah shit, I just accepted a loan I didn't want. I've gotta talk to the FinAid department about this. I do NOT need $13,954. Oh boi.
The library didn't have Selena. Nooo. I need to see that movie again. I haven't seen it in forever. How can I be more Mexican than the Mexicans without watching Selena a hundred gazilion times? UGL, you are crimping my style (haha, isn't about time someone tried to bring that back?).
Speaking of St. Selena, I think Nereida and I should go as Lida and Melina for Halloween (um...we should make plans to actually go somewhere first). Dudes, I was so totally stalked by a guy on a bicycle yesterday. It was creepy. I was looking around for somewhere I could charge my computer, and this guy comes out of nowhere and starts following me around. He kept asking me a whole lot questions like where was I going, where I lived, what my name was, and if he could have my number. I couldn't get this dude to go away. At one point, he pointed to Linsell House and said there was an outlet out there. Crazy Stalker Guy Translation: I think that's the perfect place to rape you. There is no damn outlet there. I just gave him a shit reason why that wouldn't work. Then, I told him to stop following me. He asked me why I thought he was following me. Um...because everywhere I go, you're right there. He said he wasn't following me. So, here's my question: If a girl accuses you of stalking her, what do you do? You go about your business, right? WRONG. This dude kept following me and talking to me. I eventually got rid of him, but the mofo creeped me out. You wanna know what makes the whole thing really scary? He doesn't even go to Wayne State! He goes to WCCCD!
Man, I had some really important stuff to say, but I forgot a lot of it.
Well, after I was stalked, I got a Slipknot song stuck in my head. The song is about, well, a stalker. Then, I remembered that I really enjoy Slipknot songs about stalkers. So yeah, when I get home, I'm definitely listening to them, even if I'm not listening to 'Knot right now.
In fact, I think I'll make a Stalker Mix. Yeah, I actually have enough songs about stalking/raping to make a mix. That sort of scares me now. I have three by Slipknot. One by Stone Sour. One by 40 Below Summer. One by Cradle of Filth (not so much a stalking song as a kidnapping/raping/killing/necrophilia song). That gives me six songs...
I wonder if this library has the movie The Collector...
