i can't wait till school is over! i am so tired of some of my bratty kids, one is particular and his idiot mother. anytime this kids does anything mom goes and whines to the principal and i get in trouble! i hate this family, i will be so happy the last day of school! there is even a possibility of the principal going to a different job so that is even nice, we won't have the idiot anymore. |

The bodice is done! I used different buttons, but I like how they look. THe pictures are temporary, the colors look odd; I will have more at the dinner. I don't think I will have time by next week to do the overskirt, but at least I have the bodice and skirt done now!

Well, it is finally spring break, a week away from kids, yea! I have been working on the Belle Star outfit, I am about 90% done with the bodice. I start on the cullottes (?) tomorrow. |

Yea, I finally sewed something! I finished my skirt today, just need to hem it, (which is so much fun :) Now, on to the bodice. Here is a pic:
In other news I saw The Other Boleyn Girl (online since there is no theater within 150 miles of me that has it) It was choppy, rushed, and added some unneccessary things (Henry and Anne scene comes to mind), but over all I liked it, not loved it but liked it. It could have been so much better, here is hoping there are deleted scenes on the dvd. I thought some of the dresses were pretty, especially this one:

well, i am almost done with the underskirt, just sew it to the waistband and hem it. then on to the bodice. it has been forever since i cut this out, between funerals and being gone almost every weekend in February, i haven't had time to sew, i need to sew after school and not be lazy. |

I finished my petticoat today. It was pretty easy, just LOTS of gathering. I still need to hem it but I might wait and see how long to skirt will be. So I have least part of the outfit done, now the skirt, bodice, and overskirt to go. :)

Hey, I finally got started on my victorian costume. i cut out the petticoat tonight; which for me the person who HATES to cut out, is pretty good. I think if I am not lazy and actually sit down and sew, i could get this thing done this weekend. Then, on to the skirt. Wow, sewing and actually updating my livejournal, that is weird :) |

wow, i am actually updating. well, I have all my victorian patterns and most of the fabric, just need the velvet for the vest. Time to start making my dress. I cut out the petticoat pattern, that has to count for something :) Other news 3's installation was yesterday, it wasn't too bad. Unfortunatly all my pictures look blurry or dark; partly because of the room's bad lighting and partly because I need to get use to my camera. Anyway on the way home I saw this and thougt it was cute, my very own Bambi and Thumper.

There is finally a trailer for this movie!!! Yea! It looks like there are pretty dresses and a lovely Eric Bana, so I am happy:) Can't wait till Febuary.

I jsut thought that this was really funny:)!!
1. Get 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they aren't looking.
2. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the rest rooms.
4. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone,
" 'Code 3' in housewares".... and see what happens.
5. Go the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on lay away.
6. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
7. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.
8. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask,
"Why can't you people just leave me alone?"
9. Look right into the security camera; use it as a mirror, and pick your nose.
10. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti - depressants are.
11. Dart around the store suspiciously loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.
12. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels.
13. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through,

15. Go into a fitting room and shut the door and wait a while; and then yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!

OK, i have this program on my computer that I found that can do screencaps from movies very easily. I decided to try it with some pictures from The New World. I am also trying a cut so lets see if it works.
