Tuesday, June 28th, 2005 4:07 pm Hi there again! Sorry its been so long but we have been very busy. We have one new foal this year by Littledale Bright Star out of Barkway Riverdance. The chestnut filly was born a week early and we have named her Rosewater Big Bird! Rosy has qualified for the summer regionals at open novice level. This weekend she won the BD 5 year old dressge pony Championship and was the highest placed pony overall with a score of 85.4!! We believe that this was the second highest score of the Champs...horses as well as ponies. We are thrilled to bits and we owe our thanks to Liz Diegutis for training Rosie and to Olivia Oakeley for riding her. We can report that Delphi has scanned in foal to Caesar 171 and that Ballerina has scanned in foal to Littledale Brightstar. We await news of Riverdance who has been covered by Orchard Glasnost. We have a new brood mare Broomford Bellissima who won the pony brood mare class at the BD Champs last weekend. Sadly she has scanned negative and we will bring her into work over the next month or two. We will update our photos over the next week or so. Friday, February 11th, 2005 9:26 pm Hi! Good news this week! Rosie has qualified for the Winter Regional Semi-Finalls at open novice level. It is just over a year since we backed her and we are delighted with her progress. After the semi's Rosie will have a bit of a break followed by some fun activity. Pony Rider. We also proudly announce that Olivia Oakeley will be training on Rosie over the forthcoming year with the aim of taking the pony up the levels. Olivia was on one of the England Pony Teams at the Sheepgate Under 21's National Championships where she got through to the ride off and was placed 5th. This month, aged just 11 Olivia will be riding her own pony at the winter semi finals at elementary level. She also hopes to compete at Necarne in Ireland.
