Happy Happy To We
Last year on this happy occasion I posted a picture from our wedding. This year on Lisa & my anniversary I’ll treat you to this manga version of a picture from our wedding one of L’s students drew for her.

Big Eyes Lisa Small Mouth Rob

Give the kid credit: drawing a big eyes, small mouth version of me (and more to the point, a small nose, small chin version of me) is pretty much a Sisyphean task. But re-imagining Lisa as a spunky magical girl powers go! anime heroine fighting evil by moonlight etc. etc. is all too easy. Heck, they practically made a movie about her already (link to movie trailer, worth the download time IMHO).

I love you more than anything, baby. Here’s to two wonderful, wonderful years. And, with any luck, to two more. :)

Happy Anniversary, guys! Super cute picture.

hmm. A little photoshop work and I could probably drop your head into a Star Blazers uniform. Looks just about right for that.

That is a very cool picture, and I'm not the world's biggest @n1m3 fan anyway. The first anniversary is paper, so it's somewhat fitting.

But I do have a bone to pick with you... Michelle and I just celebrated our third last weekend, and I haven't had time to post pics, paeans, or strange Japanese movie trailers in my LJ. you are showing me up! Lay off the good guy stuff will ya? Plus, you're making Brant swoon.

I tried posting the video of [info]aliwings and I doing karaoke in Vegas from our anniversary trip, but the file was too big (50MB, about 2.5 minutes) for my web-hosting space Verizon gives me. If only I knew someone good with video editing who could edit it down for me. :)

It might not even need to be edited down, just compressed- I betcha I could get that badboy down to a 5-6 MB QuickTime. Burn the file onto a CD and next time I see you (whenever that is) I'll grab it and run it thru a compressor...

A sign from the gods: Cutie Honey has replaced Porco Rosso in the 1 PM Saturday Fantasia slot next weekend. So I guess I'll just be seeing that instead.
