Kind of a short excerpt, but I've only got about six more chapters to go. I've missed writing this!

There are Young Ones episodes up at YouTube. I know what I'll be watching at work today!

"Bad for SOCIETY when the kids start getting into it!"

EDIT: I've found Demolition, Oil, Nasty and Sick, but if I can find the rest of the Bambi ep my day will be complete.

Oh shit man, Cil tagged me with this like a week ago. WHOOPSIEDOODLE.

Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little-known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little-known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.

Oh my god oh my god OHHHHH MY GOD. Oh my god. Oooohhh, my god. XD. omg.

I totally missed this back in August. Alyx vs Gman, wth? And I laughed so hard at that bit with Kleiner at the end, especially the bit riiiight after the credits.

"According to Marc Laidlaw it is now public knowledge that Gordon will meet another survivor of the Black Mesa incident."

AKJSKFJDFH.

AGGGGGGHHHHHH, this isn't being released until next spring! *sob*

Man, I'd love to start this shit at the studio one day. I love the janitor, the guy imitating a shotgun and the dude on the cellphone.

(I stumbled across this while trying to figure out just what the footage of the crazy BAH BAH! lady was for. YTMND.com has been having a field day with her lately.)

I don't generally make any aviation-related posts on this journal anymore, but this video of a Citation jet over-running the runway straight into the Atlantic City Bay is so bizarre I had to stick it somewhere.

And here is the NTSB report.

If you want a real laugh, check out the registration. THEN take a look at the registration of the jet that replaced it. Ha!

You scored as Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones is an archaeologist/adventurer with an unquenchable love for danger and excitement. He travels the globe in search of historical relics. He loves travel, excitement, and a good archaeological discovery. He hates Nazis and snakes, perhaps to the same degree. He always brings along his trusty whip and fedora. He's tough, cool, and dedicated. He relies on both brains and brawn to get him out of trouble and into it.

I'm not one to dash out and buy a new console at the drop of a hat, but I think I might break tradition and pick up a GameCube solely to play The Twilight Princess. The only thing I'm stumped on is... there's gonna be a GC and a Wii version, right? What's the difference between the two?

That wand of bush flying was badass; it would kill monsters with one shot.

Morrowind Dancing Imperial Guards. I love how the second guard seems to watch the first for a moment before joining in. What in god's green motherfucker...? XD

I made some noise on GJ about getting Oblivion a few months ago- and while verily, it does rock, I've still gotta say that overall, I like Morrowind a lot better. Oblivion is balls-out gorgeous and a lot of the guild and random quests are wicked fun but, storywise and gameplay-wise, it really does feel dumbed down. I miss all of the lore and gritty hostility of Morrowind. I DON'T miss the cliff racers, though.

Crossposted from my Greatest Journal, uh, journal:

OH MAN, do I ever love Half-Life! ♥

HL2: Episode One... so amazing... Seriously, holy crap. Gaming doesn't get any better than this. I mean, the Half-Life series was already fantastic to begin with, but this expansion just drives it into the realm of a spectacular sort of cinematic... I dunno, I can't describe it. It's like playing a movie, and a really excellent movie at that. I've never played a game that so tightly and brilliantly melds its story and gameplay together; the direction is superb. And now that Valve is bringing out these episodic expansion packs... okay, no, it's more like playing a television series with the polished production quality of a movie. FAAAWK, THAT MADE NO SENSE.

I'm all vaclempt. Here are some awesome highlights to chow your brain on:

MASSIVE CHEWY CHOCOLATELY SPOILERS. )

And that's it for now. Christ, I've still got the rest of the Urban Flight chapter to go through, and then a final one after that. I hear the ending is a real killer cliffhanger. NOOOOO.
