for i, (brace yourself for this, its a biggy) am "A sower of discord", in so much as i tend to question religions because i think that they have all become too corrupted by the greed of man, and his (or her) will to attempt to control their fellow man (or woman)

i say hate, when what i actually mean is its an "Abomination" to god, this word has been changed and rather than just meaning unclean or forbidden (like it used to) according to the dogma.
Now it means hated and despised, it amazes me just how much venom humanity can pour into words, like some kind of Memetic poison.

now, i would say i generally dont talk religion (ok, so its only been Two months since my last post on the subject) because it opens up a whole can of worms and tends to upset people. but i do love to discuss such things with anyone who is willing to, its more a case that generally speaking, i only really get a chance to talk of such things with people when they try to force their beliefs on me.
( so at this point, im not going to force my beliefs onto anyone, instead, this cut is here so that if you want to pass this post by, you are completley free to. although understand that much of this is a general rant about some of the crap that people (particularly from the various christian sects) in the name of god )

i think what im trying to say, is that the message about tolerance, understanding and doing no harm to your fellow man has become lost in so much controlling dogmatic BS and people trying to control other people.

and it upsets me, because pride, arrogance, greed and hubris quite often get in the way.

wouldn't it be great if we all just got along, and could settle our diffrences in an amicable and adult way rather than bickering and removing our opposition just because we dont agree with them.

1. Last one alive (the) - Vast this one is an easy choice, i find that singing along to something is the best way to work out my frustrations on the world. and this song really fills that need, the main lyric i really like is if the sun comes in your room, and wakes you from your vanity, you wont find me 'cause i'll be on top a mountain, pissing on your grave ohhh yeah.

2. Last call - tin omen this was the first song from define my existence that i heard, its a really good track.

3. Legion - VNV Nation what can i say about this track, other than its my "reset to default settings" button, my head lifts, i smile and just feel happy. i have no idea why this song has this effect, but it certainly plays with my serotonin levels.

4. Love - Abney Park this track is quite sinister sounding really, but there's something oddly reassuring in that. moving swiftly on.

5. Land of confusion - Disturbed if phil collins had done it this way in the first place i think that more people would like him (/bias) this is a brilliant track, full of power and energy, really can make you (or me at least) feel like i can achieve anything.

at about 17:45 this evening i shall be at the theroy testing centre place.

so that gives me 7 hours to study and cram as much as i can to try and bring my average up by 3 questions.

the weekend left me in a bad head space.
im now worrying about the test.
and currently we have builders attached to the side of our house while they start the extension.

the best advice i have had is relax, but i cant at the moment.

Bugger.

i have yet to work out exactly where the testing centre is in snow hill.
