Should I take money out of savings to take myself to the spa for a massage and sauna, in the hopes that it will finally knock the socks off this damn cold I've had for 1 1/2 weeks?  Anybody wanna help me make the decision?  (I'd create a poll but I'm too damn tired! :^)  THANKS!

Yay....finally did it and it only looks *really* fuzzy! :-(  One click to Facebook and it looks great!!  Frank, you got some splainin' to do!!!!!!!

So I'm trying to do the little "My Family" sticker like careyonly (once again I have journal envy!!) and I can't remember my LiveJournal password, and when I try to change it, they tell me my old one is bad.....LIKE I KNOW WHAT'S IN THAT SLOT!! (All I know is that my home computer longs in automatically...how could the password be wrong??)  I've set up My Family twice now (which has taken about an hour, since there are NINE of us!!)  So if I try it now and it uploads right into Facebook with no problem, I may have some real strong words for Frank!!  (BAAAAAAA!! HAHAHAHAHA!!)

It has been sunny ALL DAY (and it's the week-end! WOO HOO!!) but not nearly as hot as wheredibob50 lives!!  Yoicks there!!  So I've spent almost all day outside (ate lunch indoors and came in just a little while ago to play on the 'puter a bit.) 

Mowed the yard (front AND back), weeded the front flower beds and put in new drip irrigation hoses (Takoda chewed up the hose connected to the rain barrel in the back yard, and for some reason even after I replaced the chewed hose it affected the drip hoses in the flower bed in the front yard!)  So new hoses, water dripping, flowers happy!  I also replaced the calla lily that died...they must need more water than I realized...the new hoses should do the trick.

Jay and I took a bike ride....I forgot that I had put my garden gloves on the trunk of the car, drove off to Wal-Mart to get hose connectors, and one of the gloves flew off onto 5th street.  I watched for it on the way back from the store, saw it and picked it up on our bike ride.  Am thinking about taking another ride before it gets dark.  Have to be out in the sun as much as possible today...feels like I haven't seen it for months and probably won't get a chance to get out into it all next week.  Busy week....boss back after two week absence and graduation on Thursday.  Thank god for our new bed! I actually sleep sound enough now that I dream!!  I'm gonna need that sleep to keep up this week.

Jay's watching the Lakers/Celtics game...rooting for his favorite team "Anybody who will beat the Lakers"! :^)

Gotta go.  The sun is still out!!!!!!

 

Okay, so I've worn myself out trying to control everyone and everything around me.  Tried to get Jay to cheer up when Jay refuses to cheer up.  Tried to get Abbie (one of our five cats) to stop peeing on the bathroom rugs.  Tried to get Takoda (9 month old Golden Retriever puppy) to behave in ANY way close to a well-behaved dog.  I GIVE UP NOW!!!!  I surrender any and all efforts to try to control anybody, anything, anytime or anywhere.  I can't control when or if Maude (10 year old Aussie with Addison's disease) will get sick, I can't control the fact that the cost of her monthly shots has just skyrocketed to $107 per month!! I can't control Jay's depression, his memory loss, his anxiety attacks and the fact that NEITHER of our insurance companies will pay for his medicine!!  SO, I OFFICIALLY HEREBY SURRENDER, GIVE UP, GIVE IN AND QUIT!! 

So, thanks for letting me vent.  I'm done. :^)
