We went to BAAF today... it was fun, even if I got randomly depressed 'cause I got two Black Roses out of the machines, and Greg (who doesn't like .hack too much) got a Tsukasa. :-/ Aa well, I gave one to Rura. It's pretty anyway. Rura bought a Makona plushie and Rei Ryo-Ohki. Greg bought... a Trigun cross pendant and gun keychain. I kinda wanted the little Haro (green) but I's only have five after the Black Roses. ^^ We went to a J-pop music video screening, too. Two songs, one with helicopters and one with the sky and happy girls. o.o;; Then was Invoke, and everyone cheered. It was odd, though. The guy seemed like he was severely depressed. And then there was Believe. Much dancing. I liked it though! Last was Super Drive... and I laughed so hard. It completely despelled my depression. Guy in Britsh (flag) shirt riding a bike and writing stuff! So funny... then we read manga in the manga library, I read Welcome to Lodoss Island. :-D Fun! Then we went blarging, where we did absolutely nothing but be bored until we left. ^^ I wish we cosplayed, though, we saw lots of cosplayers, especially Kakashis. I brought Puchiguso. ^^ And that TokyoPop sneak thing we got for free has a preview of .hack. ^^ Yay. Nzingha is meeting us tomorrow, so it'll be Rura, Rei, Greg, her, and me. Mari and Reki-boy have things to do, sadly. Mari wore a yukata, Rura a kimono. I wore clothes, like everyone else. ^^;; Tomorrow we go to some panels. ^^ And I'll see if I can wheedle some more money from my parents... ;) Aa, fun. I kept thinking I'd see someone I know, but I didn't... Aa well...

Reka is home. Nearly-almost-permanently, and god, I never want to be away from home for so long again, unless Rura and Rei are with me. ^^;; Good thing about vacation, though: my parents buy me little things, mainly books (support education! Yeah!) but also little things... er, excepting that DVD I found at Wal-Mart... yeah. ^^;; I'm fairly manipulative if I try, and gullibility runs in my family. ;)

See, he graduated from HS, a year behind Noah in school. His sister Erica is 10 days younger than me, they used to live across the street when we were little. I called her my best friend for a long time, even as we grew apart... well, it just strikes me that now we're so different, and she's so different from who I knew. Feminine, laughing, party Erica now, moody, dark little Erica then. Aa... can't be helped...

Then we went to Costco. I searched frantically for the .hack games for Liminality. ^^;; I have no PS2, so... yeah. Couldn't find it, aa, that's one of my only chances to get my parents to buy it. And they didn't have .hack//SIGN DVD either; I need the second volume. So, yeah, I got Castle in the Sky. ^^;;

I got a Yumi dress and shirt! YAY!! Thing is, the dress is... weeeeeeellll.... the label says 'Mama clothes.' Figure it out. It's really loose and comfortable... I just need to get Tepa to remove the unusualy high drawstring with her amazing sewing expertise. ;)

Don't pretend you know why, or what's in my head, just realize I won't just follow you around and be your beautiful daughter in lace and a dress who wears makeup and jewelry. That's not who I want to be, so stop... pretending that there's a normal teenage girl inside of me, 'cause I got rid of her a long time ago.

Hmm, we've had sleepover after sleepover, gone to Chinatown, Barnes and Noble, worked on a story, played Melee, and... just had some fun. ^^ So I'm sorry I haven't posted, the Rs have been invading. ^^ Yay!

... wow. So, yeah. Rei can't come back 'til Monday, she had to go take a Regents, and so tonight no sleepover, but tomorrow Rura is sleeping over (without Rei, unlike the past few days) and we're going to a Harry Potter thing at the BN near my house. I's not huge fan, but I want book, and giveaways... ::bounces up and down:: ... if Reka can get free stuff, she'll go anywhere. ^^;; Yesterday we were at Rei's, and we went to Chinatown. Rei, being Rei, got some Furuba stuff. Rura got lots of Pokemon cards, since packs are cheap down there. I spent most of my money on cards, too, in the vain attempt to beat Rura. The other bit I spent on Hikaru no Go VCDs, which was fun, but I honestly got more from the spoken Japanese then from the Chinese subtitles. ^^;; I suck at characters, and spoken Chinese is too fast for my brain to process... and I owe Rei five bucks because one and two were taped together. -_-;; The quality also sucked, but I love my crappy VCDs. ::hugs them::

Reka wanted to go to the PS87 street fair, but it's all... rainy now. -_-;; 'Tis rain or shine, buut... do I really want to go outside...? Even if Rura came, 'twould be a bit miserable.

Anyway, my compy Kokei, after deleting my Secret and randomly doing weird things to my desktop, went all-out. Also: I can't wait until Noah gets his compy back from TekServe (the hinge on the screen is off) because even if he reinstalled OS9 on Kyoko (my beloved old laptop which I'm giving to Rei. Rei, she's alright, but fairly slow, but I know you don't really need a fast compy, just one to write, play MP3s, and a game or two, and I'm gonna work on her soon.) he named her Wu Wei (o.o;;) and... waargh. 3. English final- creative project linking all we've read. Due the 2nd... and I still need ideas. o.o;;

4. English essay-- revise it. Yep. Due... yesterday. -_-;; Presenting during assesment week, 9th-13th.

5. Chinese test. I think... I don't know when.

6. Math final, likely... the 6th.

Reka wants never to work as hard as her parents do. She was really worried her mom would have a nervous breakdown over her project for work.

Anyway, I still managed to have a decent weekend. I worked on my homework tons, and managed to engage in anime/manga activities (which are necessary for life) when my parents weren't looking. So, I survived. Rura came over on Friday, we went to her friend Kenny's house (who my dad likes a lot on first glance, for some bizarre reason) and I borrowed his Lain DVDs (less money for Reka to spend. Whee) and... need time to watch. ^^;; So, yes, Reka needs tiiime. Rura, Rei, Mari, Kenny and Kenny's friend went to Chinatown. Yes, I stayed home like a good little bored student, and later my mom said that for the amount I got done (practically nothing) I could've gone with them. That kind of pissed me off... I won't be able to go for the next two weeks (This weekend= Friday, literally all day school trip to Six Flags for Physics Day (wooooooork), Saturday, parents leave me alone while they go pick up my brother (he's at college) and his friend (who needs a place to stay while his parents split.) Yes, 'tis time, but... friends. :-/ It doesn't help that they keep talking about Saturday (no Rei, don't apologize, it's kinda important to you and it sounds fun) but... yeah. -.-;; How come everything new and exciting happens when I'm not there? First people stayed at Mari's and watched Fruits Basket... and then Rura and Rei sprouted obsessions and then watched the entire series... which is great, but now I feel like... I'm just imitating that I like it. Well, I guess I always feel like that... can't be helped, I guess. Then this... and what can I say? Every time I feel less and less missed, and, well... that's my problem. If I feel like this, it's my own fault for being overly sensitive and having little ego, so... for crying out loud, don't feel guilty. If I don't feel that you guys care, I'm not valuing friends correctly, because I'm sure you do. And it can't be helped, anyway. I stayed home because I felt I had to, and you guys should have fun. After all, who am I to say that I should make someone feel bad when they should be happy?

Aa, so off of sad and depressing. Reka was IMed by .hack fan who read her LJ, and that was good. Nice to know I'm not the only one, even though I know I'm not. Heh. And... passed math test. ^^;; Sine, cosine, tangent. Easy stuff on calculator. Yay.

Also, in other news, Ian checked an essay of mine and I did his. It gave me a kind of guilty pleasure. If you don't know, Ian is not one of my favorite people. He's one of those people who kind of tortured Rei last year, I stomped on his foot a lot, and he's not nearly so bad nowadays, but... he still... uhhhh... has that Ian-thing. I... dislike the Ian-thing.

I mean, he's ordered these spiffy masks for his office, but... he's a doctor, so he's at most risk. And he's in his late 50s, so he's at a greater risk. :-/ Wonderful. In other news, we got more cheese and some bread from Tepa's family, the cheesemakers. Yum. I don't usually like cheddar, but... yum. Also, I need to do some things, but they're secrets right now. Posted a new link at rLand, plus some results, so... yeah. :-D

'Twas her psychic deck vs. my fire deck ('tis my only deck) and she beat me. ^^;; I never get energies... ;) Plus, my Flareon kept eluding me... ::mutter mutter threatens flareon with a stick:: ^^;; Anyway, yeah. None of us had any money (Even Greg! GASP!) so we just hung out at home. Oh, yeah, I had a haircut. ^^;; Most of it comes to my ears now. Everyone seems to like it, so I suppose that's good... I have a cold, too. Evil thing... my head is stuffy and hurting. Aargh... must go. I need a sword... need to train my muscles... need to run more... work on balence... need to actually sleep well...
