I'm saying hello to Sennheiser PX100. May you last and still be usable for years and years to come!

| Me and Headphones, why don't they love me enough to endure? |
[Sunday

By the way, I broke another pair of headphones yesterday TT__TT
So after the 3-hour test, I wanted to listen to Takitsuba's Real DX because it was appropriate, and surprise, surprise! The sound only came out from the right piece. I was and I am still upset. I thought this pair would endure the mistreatment it may or may not had suffered. It survived when I jammed it in my bag between heavy books, and when it was forcefully unplugged from the computer because I stood up without taking it off. One time my father's wheelchair even rolled over the jack and it was fine. Its predecessors (my previous headphones) had lasted 2-4 months in average. This pair lasted a glorious seven months; I remember because I got it in Ukraine and that was in April.
At the time I got it, I was getting tired with the sterile sound of my simple Philips pair (which were by then already half-broken, emitting unfriendly white noise), and I was surprised to see this pair of headphones as part of the winning prize. It was a Koss Sportapro and I liked the warmer quality of the sound. The sound leaks, but I'm not a real audiophile and all I care about is the comfort of wearing it. And, well, the bass.
Until it broke.
How come? It was in my bag, neatly folded, the heaviest thing which may have been on top of it was my lunch box, egg sandwich...
Okay, so next time will be a Bose, a JBL, or a Sennheiser. Or maybe another Koss, yea I liked it. And this time it better last!
[edit] I'm browsing for reviews, and a reviewer said she/he had been using Koss Portapro (that's Sportapro's older sibling) for 10 years and it's still functioning perfectly >___>

"You might call me your shadow, or the reason that you laugh and you don't know why."
(...So you are Yomi? =0)
I cry every single time that I listen to this song.

I did my SAT I yesterday. Why didn't I take it sooner x_x
One day before the test, I worried about not feeling as stressed as I usually would before an important test, and now I'm worried about not being worried. Does that even make sense?
Meu Deus!

Estrada Branca - Tom Jobim |

My father said I am a nice person. And then I replied, but they don't need me to be nice, I can be mean but smart and they'll make it easier for me.
He said I am nice and smart. But, I said, my kind of smart won't get an approval. So he said, you don't need approval from anybody.
Yes, I do. I need their approval to pass with flying colours. For what? So that I'll get a good job that pays me good money, so that later I'll be able to put my children through the same thing.
WHY?

| The thing about Kinki Kids |
[Tuesday
September 23rd, 2008 at 4:05am] |
They remember the outfit the other was wearing the first time they met. And they also remember the things they said to each other the first time they were sharing a hotel room.
The thing about the older sempais is how comfortable they look in public appearances. Maybe the younger ones just need some more time, but I think it may have something to do with the fact that in the past they were handled directly by Johnny himself. And of course the company wasn't as structured back then as it is now, and omg there were less juniors (what's up with the junior boom?) So, maybe it's the personal approach thing?
It doesn't hurt that they get funnier too. One Hey!Hey!Hey!, Koichi told a story about how he was scolded the other day by the boss. It surprised Hamada, "You still get scolded?" (Of course he was surprised, they were one of the more popular ones.) And then Tsuyoshi mentioned that in the company, he was probably the one who gets complimented by Johnny the most.
Back when Kinki Kids were just starting, Johnny could tell them "You go on stage now," and they would. Just like that. In SC Premium, they said that that first time they shared a room, the boss ordered steak with foie gras for them, imagine that - they were in their early teens, not very sophisticated, they couldn't eat it. But what a nice story. He trained them to be used to a large audience and on he taught them the worldly things. And the greatest thing is their attitude on stage, how real they look. I mean, some of their juniors definitely have that superstar air, which isn't bad, but for me as an audience, it can be tiring to look at sometimes.
What can I say? I guess I am into pop music these days, hahaha. This idol business, well at least they make sure we know that they know their job is to entertain. No pretending to be a serious singer or a serious actor... although some of them should just go and pursue a career in the more artistic side of the field, yea I wish.

Sometimes I am a mute child Words are rushing in my head To be trapped forever in confusion My lack of words to set them free And the storm in my chest What do I do with it? It doesn't flow out even when I bleed Is it also going to stay forever Trapped by my inability to speak So I picked up a pen and started writing And it's never as jumbled as it should be

I have a new playlist: "Undemanding Pops". Real easy stuff. Look what school's done to me.
I just can't bat off thoughts like "I'm not supposed to still be here" or "I should've finished last year", and now I know why one studies in high school for 3 years, because you'll be fed up by the fourth year. It sucks a lot. And you know something? Last year, a second grader went to America as an exchange student, also for a full year, and now she's in the third grade with her friends. I think school also doesn't like it when there are students like Astri and me brooding in class.
I want to go to university, let me pass already damnit! I hate high school. "Remember when we were still in high school?" Yeah right. "Remember how it sucked?"

Akhirnya nyambung juga. Nonton TvOne deh, there's this man sedang mencoba mengatakan bahwa perempuan adalah warga masyarakat kelas dua setelah laki-laki.
Dan muncullah itu semua crap bahwa perempuan keluar rumah harus dengan izin suami. Hello. Atau perempuan pake emosi untuk mengambil keputusan, laki-laki lebih level-headed. Hello.
