good lord, could this week be any more frustrating at work? the notepad next to my computer has tiny dot marks all over it from me jamming my pen into it, repetitively, at high speeds, all day.
if this keeps up, we go to plan b.

just got off the phone with the geech, who was complaining about her mall being overrun by little kids waiting for the release of the latest harry potter book. (note: the at&love is located directly across the way from the borders.) "they've been there since, like, 9am," she said. "what are they doing all day, just hanging out?"
"well, they're excited. they need to get their wristbands."
"they can get 'em and then go somewhere else." she took a break to swear loudly at some gnatty bugs swarming in the back room and then continued. "i mean, i guess i've just never felt that strongly about something enough to line up for it."
"i lined up for order of the phoenix."
"not at 9 in the morning, though."
"no, at 10 at night."
"see?"
"yeah, but i'm not nine."
"well...that's...debatable."

The desire for advancement, both personal and career-wise, could cause you to consider the possibility of furthering your education in some way, dear Pisces. Seriously, I can't even complete an application for grad school, let alone contemplate going. (I've half-applied to the same program no fewer than four times over the last three years.)

two things, quickly.
1. it took me four tries to get my car out of the driveway this morning, popping it into neutral each time, then kicking the snow away from my tires with the ever-popular rond de jambe motion. my pant legs were wet up to the knee until 10am this morning.
2. it is valentine's day, and people are being snowed into their houses. whose romance novel are we in?
