Patented Razor Gator has angled teeth, a mini-brush and cloth swab to scrape, sweep and wipe away even the most tenacious razor gunk* from between your multi-bladed razor. Athletes shave smooth to give them the edge in competition, and Razor Gator goes the distance when it counts, to reduce razor rash, bumps and burn.

A few thoughts on Athletics and the advantages of Shaving Smooth Shaved skin makes athletes more aerodynamic due to reduced drag. Reduced drag can mean an improvement of microseconds of time–which in athletics can often mean the difference between victory or defeat. Body hair acts as an insulator to keep in heat. Shaving smooth allows excessive heat, in warm weather conditions, to escape more quickly and keeps the athlete cooler. Conversely, hair allows sweat to stick to the body and in extremely cold weather, the sweat has been known to freeze. Shaved hairless skin accepts taping of injured areas better. There is significantly less pain in removing bandages/taping from shaved shin as compared to hair-covered areas. Smoother skin may allows lactic acid to escape more quickly in rubdowns after training. In sports where athletes travel at high speeds (eg. bicycling, track/sprinting) bugs hit their body and the hair on their legs creates a net that traps them to their bodies–which creates drag. Athletes that wear padding/girdle supports to reduce injury often see less contact abrasions on hairless skin, in addition to, having less pain from rubdowns/athletic massages when skin is hairless. It can be quite painful slipping on a tight body suits with excessive body hair. Hair can pull and be painful in close contact situations (e.g. football players, wrestlers) Smooth skin on arms and legs reduces grip friction and makes them more slippery and harder to hold on to. Athletes feel and look better shaven. Muscle curves are more defined and creates a brighter shine for musculature and encourages improvement in athletic image. |
