Forgive my unfamiliarity with Warhawk/Aquagirl, so I wrote you a drabble based on your Signs of Air and Water fic. I hope I did it justice.

Snapshot for the moment
Word count: 100 exactly ^^

Sometimes Merina reads the books that Arthur brings home. Fairytales are her favourite, and she is mildly amused at how similar the tales above and below land are. And how different they can be too.

Rex is tickled by her fascination with these stories of magic. "Don't you think," he says one day, over Arthur's head as he raptly watches the cartoons they picked up from the video store. "that our lives are like a fairytale already?"

Merina looks at the three of them, comfortably nestled together on the couch, and thinks that at least she got a happy ending.
