My problem is that, while other websites specify all the languages on the dvds (in this case English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) Amazon doesn't give this kind of information. Still I need dvds with the Italian version as well. So I was wondering if anyone had bought them from Amazon uk and can tell me if they do have the Italian trackl. Or if you know a way to verify this.
Thanks in advance.

I really hope we will be able to do another meeting, and, as I said, you must come to Italy as well.

As I find myself in need to explain to the person who will send me a book what I read and what kind of books I would run away from, I thought it might be a good idea to make a post about it. So here we are.

Second, I gave the exam of English Culture 2 today, the one I was worried about because of how my opinions and those of the prof are quite different. Well, not only I got another 30, but at one point she had to say 'sorry, you were right' and I will consider this - even if I know that it wasn't like this - as an apology for all her ideas about Star Trek. Damn, I feel better.
Finally, as a prize for passing the exam I went to the cinema and saw Irina Palm. It's a very intense movie, it made me laugh, it made me cry. If you haven't seen it, give it a shot.
And with this I'm off to bed. Only one more exam to go now!
Ah, no, I knew I was forgetting something! I've posted a story over at
Okay, now I can really go to bed.
Nighty night.

After months of nothing I've written a short thing for sga_flashfic . Would someone be available for a quick beta? It's just 735 words. A warning though: it's very dark and can't be understood without having seen all the aired episodes.
Thank you kindly in advance.

I was so worried, I mean, I know I made mistakes because I was nervous that day. I wrote my name wrong on two of the paper! This should give you an idea of the level of my nervousness. :)
But even with the nerves and the fear of failing (brought on by lot of people telling me that in no way I would be able to learn Japanese on my own without going to class) I made it!!!
*jumps happily*
PS: transmission with actual content, hopefully even fandom-related content, will be back as soon as possible.

Internet connection problem finally solved. Telecom changed the setting(from 4mb to 20mb) without asking if I wanted them to or not... and without checking that my area was up to sustain a 20mb connections. It wasn't. Hence the continually failing connection for 4 months. Now they have reduced it to 7, after making me pay for the change from 20 to 7 and taking away the connection again to do so. I'm starting to wonder if people at this company are selected on a "the more stupid the better" criteria....
Anyway.
New year (and by the way even if with terrible delay, Happy New year to everyone!) started in a not very reassuring way. I gave the Japanese written text and I'm waiting the result. Problem is I think I failed it. I was way too nervous. Even though I have discovered that I have studied and know stuff not from the first year course, but up to the third one...
Well, I guess I will have to wait and see.
In the meantime I'm preparing another text, English Culture 2, and a part of it is about television and how to study it and... I'm not sure, but I think the book they are having us studying is outdated. Some things are still useful, but the mentality is outdated. Title is How to study television by Keith Selby and Ron Cowdery. Anyone knows it?
Okay, back to studying.
Oh, and I'm still behind with all the shows...
But February will come and then I will have time!
