finally starting to get shit together.. some shit anyway
made my way through some tangled tape at ccri. and if that essay was good enough i should be all set. gotta get the tests done. math labs are bad for slackers and procrastinators.
passed the math placement thing. if i didnt woulda been screwed.
i am wicked tired tho and i know i did some really fuzzy math. I got about 2 hrs of sleep and i've had a sinus headache since around 3am.
they wanted me to work the 5am opening shift. cause i did it monday means i can do it again right? no sorry. 5am is my usual bed time, not time to punch in :P
So
what do i want to do?
i think i want to design toys and games. always been what i reaaaaly wanted to do, just never thought i could right. i mean who honestly goes to college for a lego design degree. i never thought i could do that so i kinda gave up. and by kinda gave up i mean wasted years and money on trying to do something else. not that i know where to start really. I <3 to do random creative stuff. i like inventing random characters and other such things. love toys and games.
It is very nice out right now. nice enough to discourage me from taking a nap, but apparently not nice enough to distract me from the computer atm. Cut my self off cold from the compy temptation to study math. so figured i'd update while my cell charges.
Off soon to get some coffee and deliver some banana bread.
me + electric mixer + banana bread = failure
for some reason i cant do it. it comes out all wrong. it only works if i mix it by hand.
anyway
BANANANANANANANANAA BREAD!
2C flour
1C sugar (really good if you use 1/2 granulated and 1/2 brown)
2t baking POWDER
some salt (maybe)
2 eggs
1/3c oil
1/4c milk
3-4 bananas (not green)
1-2t cinnamon (i like a lot of cinnamon)
i mix up the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking p and salt, and mix that, then dump the oil milk and eggs on top and mix that up. then smoosh all the bananas on top of that mix and then blend together with the mighty power of my hands! (buahahaha! die banana die!)
I'm not a big fan of nuts in it but you could add those, chocolate chips are good in it.
for plain what is nice is a sprinkling of brown sugar (or granulated) over the top of the batter. makes a nice sweet crust.
oh and 350F for 50 min or so, probably more, maybe less depending on oven and loaf tin sizes.
there ya go.
peas.
