2 questions for all D/Hr shippers!
I’m basically just cross-posting these 2 questions from the dracohermionecomm and Sleeping with the Enemy: (my apologies if you’ve seen this already at either yahoo groups)

1) How long have you been a D/Hr shipper?

2) What was the first fic you read that got you hooked with Draco and Hermione?


I’ve been a D/Hr shipper for 3 years now. Yours truly started reading D/Hr late 2001 but it was only the following year (2002) that I became pretty vocal about my beloved ship.

I guess you can consider A Dragon’s Feast by Spiffy Tiffi as my first love when it comes to D/Hr fics! Yes, I’m addicted to disturbingly-erotic stories! (obviously since I created Raffy's D/Hr Smut Vault last year).*evil hentai grin*

How about you guys? I’d love to know your thoughts!

Hi! I always visit your LJ even though I don't have one. LOL

Damaged by Melissa D was the fic that turned me into a true-blue D/Hr shipper! That was two years ago (i think)

Hmm, I'd have to say I've been a D/H shipper for about a year or so. The fan fic that I still love to this day is Adamo Fidelitas by pixiezombie.

I've been a Dr/H shipper for a very long time...since 99. Yeah, I'm an oldie. The first every draco/hermione fiction was what got me hooked onto the ship. A friend of mine wrote it. The Enemy Series "Across Enemy Lines"-by Gypsy Silverleaf along with the three others. Its still not done yet, but a good read.

I do agree with you on "A Dragon's Feast" though, because that is on my list of really great fiction. Too bad it probably wont every get finished.

Hey, Raffy!

1) I didn't even read the first book until a year ago, then I soaked up the remaining four (and the DVDs) like a sponge on water. I was madly in love with the entire universe. As for Draco, who was instantly one of my top two favorite characters (the first being Harry), I didn't ship him at all until I read some D/G fic that I just loved. It wasn't until after the Prisoner of Azkaban movie came out that I even started reading Hermione/Draco fic. So, this year, I guess.

2) I can't remember the names of all the fics that really got me started on this ship, but Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy was one of the first that I read. I've read thousands since then, so to pin down one or two would be impossible :)

Hey there Raffy,
I have been enjoying seeing how others found there way to this lovely shipp. So i guess its my time to share. I discovered the hp fanfiction universe around 18 months ago. It wasn't that long after that I discovered the joys of the D/Hr shipp.
I am not certain which fic was my first. (I swear I have the memory of a fish.) But I would have to go with one of the classics, it may have been Roman Holiday or The Draco trilogy. But it could of been AF or one of the many great fics that makes up this shipp. I read a lot of them at once, but it was so worth it. ;)

1.)So that roughly would be for the entirety of the HP existence as a published works *laughing*

2.) Ooh. I'd have to say Pixiezombie has really slain me w/her fics. Particularly her story in which Hermione becomes affected by a potion meant for Pansy which Draco in order to have more pleasurable romps. *Wicked Hot.* I had to take several breaks just to get thru that.

I would beg and plead for Pixiezombie to finish, but I am sure I am just adding on to the list of groveling Dramione fanatics *chuckling*

I've been a d/hr shipper since I read GoF. That exchange between them at the beginning of the book just screamed sexual tension. I started writing HP fanfic about, what? A year and a half ago, and got my live journal a year ago, and have been writing d/hr ever since...

I think the first fic that hooked me was We'll Always Have Paris. I recommend it to everyone!

Well I've been in the fandom for all of five weeks as I have just recently read the books. I must confessed that I was press-ganged into reading the books and it's probably the best thing my friend has done for me :). With that said I've really only been reading Hr/D fiction for about 2 weeks (before that I was most assuredly in the HG/SS camp) and the fic that got it all started was Adamo Fidelitas by Pixiezombie. I am always on the look out for decent fic, so if you've got any must read recs (with links if poss) can you let me know over at my journal?

I haven't been a Dramione shipper for long...but that's because I just got into fanfics this year. Probably since August of this year, I guess. The fic that got me hooked was The Cabin by Halfling, which can be found on FanFiction.net. It was the first fic I ever read and it's a good thing, too. I might be hung up on Ron/Hermione, otherwise. {shudder} lol. -Rhiannon

Have been a D/Hr Shipper since Januar 2003 when I first read the german translation of Draco Dromiens. I know... really strange. ;) But I was so angry, that she didn't end up with Draco. I saw, that they made a much more nicer couple than Harry/Hermione (my first ship).

My first NC-17 fic (second fic I read) was the german translation of "Sometimes Hate Is A Good Thing". Since then I've been hopelessly in love with D/Hr.

Erm.. I'm not sure how long I've been a shipper actually lol.. since.. a few months before I made this account anyway, whenever that was!

And the first fic I read was 'I Hate Everything About You' by Ceres Vesta - I recognized the title from a song I love so I thought I'd read it, and I fell in love =D

The smut addiction came later >.

I first became a D/Hr shipper in late 2002.
The first fic I read was in a list of recs off my sister, which was Hermione Malfoy, by superscar, and second I think the one that got me really and truely hooked was, of course, We'll Always Have Paris, by Melissa d.

I'm not sure of the year... I guess it was '02...

I was a fanfiction writer for a Japanese anime cartoon (The Slayers) and someone mistakenly posted their Snape/Hermione fic to the group. I read it and went 'Wow! This person can write!' (I wish I could remember the author and fic title - I'd love to thank them!) So, off I went in search of more HP fanfiction... I found D/Hr to be my favorite pairing (AKA biggest challenge). One of the earliest stories I got hooked on was Angel Eyes' Mistaken Identity.

It seems longer than 2 years ago... I can't remember what else... I think there was one called 'Black Light'. Anyhow, it's all downhill from there!

1) I've been a D/Hr shipper since about June or so. I hardly slept all summer, trying to catch up on every story I could find!

2) I believe that Adamo Fidelitas was the very first fic I read, and I still re-read it quite often. I love that one, and I'm dying for it to be finished!

2) The story that really got me hooked was that one by Hermione G Weasly what's it called, Sometiems hate can be a good thing, or something like that. It's sad that I can't even remeber what it's called. I'll have to read it again!

I've just always been Draco obsessed.

2) It was 'Hate's Sweet Seduction' by Kiara5542. I found it in Dark Haven - this old D/Hr NC fanfic site. I think that's how I found CV and Raffy's Smut Vault as well. =P

Hi there I have been in love with the D/Hr ship for several months now ever since my friend introduced me to fan fics. The first story I read was Once Upon A Tyme I'm not sure who the author is but really good not much smut though. My first favorite smut fic has to be Pansy's Volcano which is a tome and not finished yet.
