well, I did it. I made 12 pages and a cover (watercolor painting) in one weekend. There was no time to relax at all.
I finished making the book 4AM Monday, but I still made my deadline, dammit.

Now I just have to wait to get a proof from lulu to make sure it doesn't print as blank pages or something. *CROSSES FINGERS*

I might make 2 versions, one quick and dirty one for APE (it still has all the awesome guestart), and one slightly more polished one for my internet readers.
I feel like this might be a little unethical though.

Now I gotta go to work lolols

okay here's the plan!
kyubikitsy has informed me ka-blam takes months to print, and I have until the end of the month, so I'll use lulu (they printed books fast the few times I've used them, anyway).
I figured out how to make a .pdf that will hopefully print without incident.

I am currently rushing through the last couple of pages of my comic, I hope the ending will not piss too many people off!
Like I've been saying, I should have finished this comic years ago, and it's not going to be 100% consistent no matter what I do. - SO OH WELL.
I hope to get this done by tomorrow lolol.

This has been a learning experience, for sure.
My next comic will be a bit more professional I promise.

I'm tired from work and trying to finish my comic.

I'm probably going to print it with Ka-blam instead of lulu, because they make the process fairly idiot/artist proof. If anyone out there has used them before and can tell me about your experience, please do. I would especially love to know how long they took to print/deliver your comics.

I went to Japantown to buy HAYASHI SAUCE (don't ask), and a promotional postcard informed me that Sugizo is going to perform with motherfucking Juno Reactor on Tuesday. :O :O
I'm not a big J-rock fan anymore, but I still have fondness for Luna Sea and Sugizo. And the tickets aren't too expensive. hmm..

My main computer is fixed now, knock on wood.

It really turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it left me bored enough to produce (at least) 1 comic page everyday.

In case you missed the news, I've been having computer issues the last couple of weeks.

What little computer time I have is usually devoted to making my comic. I know it's lousy, but I'm trying to get it done in time for APE. I'm going to share a table with zoot_lives and maybe I'll jam hortaya in there too.. not sure yet. :D
