But I didn't make it~!! There's this stupid pad we step on, right in front of the exit/entry door; usually it is sticky. Today there was no sticky. ONLY SLIPPERLY. When I went to throw my gown and gloves out I slipped straight back and knocked my head against the concrete wall. I was like OH NO!! I have work to do!! D: D: D: It didn't really hurt, it kinda just....it happened, and I was up.
So, naturally, I went to the bathroom, and came back to finish my work. I did call my supervisor though, and she said if I was bleeding/dizzy I could wait to go to employee health. It took me forever to finish up, like two hours. By that time Employee Health was closed...so the only other option would be to go to the ER.
The ER that held Reid for over twelve hours and failed to tell him he had leukemia. :/
I made the mistake of calling my mom; she insisted I go to the ER and make sure they give me MRI or whatever to make sure I didn't have a hematoma. I knew it was going to be a long time, and that my evening plans would be canceled, but...
Six hours?! Over six hours? With out so much as being assessed by a nurse? What the fuck is wrong with this ER? Also, there was a man in a wheelchair, also an employee accident, who had been there one hour longer than me. At midnight I called my mom and said I was still there without being seen, and even then she said I could go home. I stayed until 12:45; the admitting nurse said that would be a good idea to leave, because I was apparently not going to be called for at least another two hours.
They called a total of three people the last three hours I was there! No joke!!
If you are ever sick, and they try to take you to the Presbyterian Hospital ER at 168ST DO NOT GO. CRAWL TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK CITY.
I didn't die in my sleep like Bruce Lee, and today I missed Employee Health again. I thought they closed at 5, but no! They close at 4. :/ :/ :/ Silly me, doing my work first, not running off to eagerly wait for hours and hours~! Anyway, I need to go tomorrow for sure, because I need to file an accident report. My head doesn't hurt, it just feels a little weird in the back.

I bet it's because my mom used that e-mail to sign up for all her gem buying sites, haha. XD;;;
I was only checking it to track a package I bought from Target<3.
I almost survived this week; just have to go up into the mouse house now and check EVERY SINGLE CAGE. Woot~! By the end of the week the boss started not being mad at me, and being mad at someone else. And now he is on vacation.
When I get home tonight I need to clean the apartment and my laptop! Because there's no point to having internets if the computer is too laggy to even write email! D: D: D: D:
I thought my ferrets had been sooo good this week (albeit pooping at least once every day on their new custom ordered bedding...); every time I saw one go to the corner they were little angels and hopped right into their litter boxes. But then this morning ON TOP OF MY BRA I found a like small mountain of ferret poop. I only had time to shout "You assholes!!" before running out the door to go to work. Only one ferret is able to hear--Mister Nips-- and he just smiled from his bed.

In my apartment!!!
Without stealing a wireless connection from a network called POLANCO.
Now, if only my a/c charger would like...charge the laptop's battery. o_o;; This is the third charger of this Dell Latitude d610 that has just suddenly stopped doing the charging shit. Oh well, I will bring my desktop here this weekend along with the wireless router<3<3<3
Ferret pornos here I comes~! >:O
TV doesn't work yet. :/ I think this will be the first Sunday I can watch Adult Swim...but the season finale for The Venture Brothers aired last week, haha. But I think I can just buy one ep on itunes and watch the last two eps for free (now thanks to having a connection that does not last 1-2 minutes before timing out<3<3<3).
I had a really bad day Monday. :/ I looked at a calendar, and it was exactly 60 days from the previous bad day at work. By bad days I mean where my boss says things that are so unreasonable and upsetting I end up CRYING D:D:D: I hate that, I can't even cry over things I want to, and should be crying over. UGGaAhhhhhhh, anyway, that was Monday. This is Wednesday now and I have cable goodies after nearly two months!!!<3<3<3
All I need is a replacement part to attach my dishwasher to the sink, and a Guinness kegulator, and I'm pretty sure this would qualify as heaven on earth.
P.S. I saw Billy Idol yesterday. AND HIS NIPPLES WERE STILL REALLY HOT >:O

Also, if you don't want a postcard that's barely legal to send through USPS mail, please say that too. I will be happy to pick out a safe generic postcard to send.
Make sure to put your full name too, unless you want it addressed to your LJ handle. Online handles are fine, just make sure whoever else lives with you knows that you are Walrustitman69, and that the postcard belongs to you and not the next door neighbor.
Anyone want to go to Cape Cod, South Orleans from August 16-August 23?
Right now it's just me, my parents, and a 3 liter bottle of Tequila 1800 Reserve. Mel canceled on me, Reid's too healthy to go (his doctors totally lied when they'd take his trip plans into consideration, instead he's healthy enough that he has to stay home and get pumped with chemo...), and Sweetie died. I don't think the ferrets can come, as there's no AC there, and it can get pretty hot in the cottage.
Oh, and it's August and my apartment still doesn't have fucking internet or cable tv.
THE PITY PARTY BEGINS AT FIVE, PLEASE RSVP THX.

Total list of crap someone hacked/hijacked from me:
-2 GaiaOnline Accounts (one recovered, but my original account will be in Limbo for 60-90 days)
-4 Gmail accounts (my main, fake one for my dead dog, fake one for The Flash, fake one for Mister Muggles, fake one for Zeles Baracus, fake one for a manatee on myspace)
-No Myspace accounts that I know of had their passwords changed(THANK GOD MY FAKE FLASH, MANATEE, AND MISTER MUGGLES ARE SAFE!), but someone DID log into the Flash!
-ONE PAYPAL ACCOUNT (I died, but luckily no one did anything there and no money was transferred)
-This livejournal account
My one account on Gaia thats stuck in limbo had its name changed, and was used to post pictures of goatse around the forums before it got permabanned. x____x So I guess they didn't steal any of my little cute items I've collected over the years (account since 2005 I think? or 2006, whatever was the verrrry first year). But like...wtf! Why try to hack me?! I don't have a swiss bank account, or friends (to send fake ads on myspace to), or like...even $20 in my bank account. If you wanted to post pics of goatse why not do it with your own account?! So far, this is all I know of that got temporarily hacked into...but if I posted some pictures of a man doing things with his rear that just shouldn't be possible...it wasn't me. o____o So not my style, I like to use misleading links. Then, BAM! In your face photoshopped pic of Spock making out with Kirk.
Oh yeah, when you change your password on livejournal, it gives you an email saying which IP was used to do it. So I know the guy's IP who was responsible (if they didn't use a mask or ipchangeythingy). It's supposedly from Staten Island. Like what the hell! Don't be mad at me because YOU live in Staten Island, and I am cool and live in Marble Hill. I've since updated any PC I use here at work with the latest firefox and flash builds, with all the plugins that don't let any scripts or flash applets load unless you approve it first. ._.

You are uncomfortable getting close to others. You want emotionally close relationships, but you find it difficult to trust others completely. You don't believe you deserve very much, so you don't try very hard to win favor. You prefer to lie there until someone comes along to walk all over you. It's okay. You're used to being stepped on.

Eventually, I started to wonder why my camera was out of my purse in the first place. o_O Then I vaguely remember my ID was also supposed to be in the camera case. To find out where the ferrets took the camera from, booted up camera and find pictures taken on my birthday at like 5pm of me looking very happy, very red, and rubbing Brownie all over my face in my bed. x______x
I'm not really supposed to drink with my meds, as it intensifies the effects. All that means, is that I get really happy, really fast, then thirty minutes later I am ready to nap (after 2-3 beers). x_____x And in between that, I apparently take pictures of snuggle torture.
Found the camera case, sans ID about ten minutes later. Took another ten minutes to find where the ID had slid off to. It must have all been pushed off the bed by me during my nap, and then later the camera was separated and dragged off as a ferret spoil.
'CAUSE I SURE HELL CAN'T.
The last time this happened, I had to go through the painfull lost ID process. Years later, I found my ID inside a copy of a Gamecube Batman game that I didn't even own, or ever play, when Mel went through her games (the game never had even come over to my house). x________x
While I was at work yesterday, she had another four. By the time I got home sometime after midnight, she was seizing again, but they were less violent, and seemed to just fade in and out. All I could do was hold her and rub honey on her gums. :/ Pheno-barb did nothing, as did sugar, and food. In the morning she was going to go to the vet, but didn't make it through the night.
Goodbye Sweetie, PRZ ROCK ON IN DOG HEAVENZ~!!!
Trying to keep it all in until Thursday night, when I can open up that 2 liter bottle of tequila and mourn Sweetie's passing in style.

It's that time of year again, for us to all get free chicken wings at TK's American Cafe on my birthday. This year there will be.... 27 wings! We have never had a year when all were finished--please come help! If you're not a drinker, don't worry. Mulan has a lifelong tradition of not drinking alcohol, and Gryphon has not ordered an alcoholic drink on my birthday for at least four years.
If I have my way Carvel ice cream cake will also be served (but only if I can force those commies to make it the way it used to be: three layers (none of this cheap two layer crap), top vanilla, middle chocolate, bottom vanilla, crunchies in between~! :O
When: 1:30pm-3:30 PM, or sooner :O Whenever the waitress ignores us enough to run out
What: Free Wings, Guinness, Me (also free)!!
Where: TKs American Cafe, 255 White Street Danbury CT 06810 USA
No gifts, please!
Also, if anyone is up for seeing WALL-E before or after this, please let me know. I totally want to~! :O

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO
Monday: Worked until 6pm, met my Dad at 125th and St Nick, and hopped on the M60 to LGA. Got there at 7pm, where all the stores and food places were already starting to close. Flight was delayed until 11:30pm. DDDDDD:
Tuesday: Arrived in Colorado at 2:30 AM. Woke Reid up 3am. ;D Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Children's Hospital prom, because Reid received a really bad dose of chemo the day before, and was very ill for the majority of the day. Reid felt better after an evening of napping (instead of dancing).
Wednesday: Reid had an ultrasound very early to check on a clot he had in one of his arms. After that, we went to Ihop!!! (we don't have them close by) and then that night...MAGGIANO'S! (another place we don't have here) I really don't just go to Colorado to eat... XD;;;;;;
Thursday: I think this was the day we spent all day napping. Reid didn't feel well, but I really don't know why was I was so tired. Elevation sickness? Dehydration? Allergies (there was all this white fluffy stuff in the air that I was told came from cottonwood trees)? I dunno! When not napping, Reid and I both played Final Fantasy XI for the first time after a very long hiatus. We were able to do all missions released so far for the latest expansion, Wings of the Goddess. The cutscenes were amazing-- and more similar to what you'd see in other Final Fantasy titles than in FFXI. There was a really cute new NPC, who's half elvaan, half human, and very cute! New evil people who wear purple outfits! And very, very creepy Cait Sith scenes...!
Friday: Saw the Hulk!!! With Reid!!! More happy to be seeing a comic book movie with Reid, than the movie itself. It was okay, better than the other one, but how is Liv Tyler old enough to have a PhD AND already become a tenured cell biologist Professor?! Apparently this concern makes me really nerdy.
Saturday: Saw Kung Fu Panda!!! With Reid!!! <3 Fat Pandas! If a panda is skinny though, there's something wrong with that panda. That night we had a "date night" and went to P.F. Chang's. Another chain we don't have out here, but everyone raves about. :O Worst service ever, and the food wasn't that great either. Will no longer feel jealous when people say how awesome P.F. Chang's is. XD;;
Sunday: IHOP TAKE TWO. Corn cakes again! Flight home delayed by thirty minutes, but the plane arrived in LGA as scheduled. But my mom planning for the delayed arrival, was 30 minutes late even before she ran into a lot of traffic. And then she couldn't find the right terminal. Ended up leaving LGA around 11:30PM....only to end up in tears fifteen minutes later when I realized I left my bag with my laptop outside in the Passenger pickup area. Just sitting there out on the curb~ Target red green bag with my laptop, some comics, and my gameboy~ :O Luckily, it was still there when we went back for it. There were a lot of cops around who didn't really care that a bag had just been sitting there for thirty minutes, but who were instead very busy making sure there was NO WAY for cars to pick up anyone in a timely fashion.
Monday: Arrive home 1am! :O Greeted by some very excited ferrets (my mom let them out to play ONE TIME the entire week), a still very grumpy bunny, and a very hungry Sweetie. I did a little animal husbandry and ate my lunch / dinner (hadn't eaten anything since that IHOP, unless you count that emergency candy bar I had on the plane :x). Didn't sleep until 3:30 AM, because I ended up watching the re-air of that night's Venture Bros. I was cranky enough, no need to make me crankier by missing out on this week's episode!! Was up at 10am, in the car at 11:30ish AM, but ended up calling up work and taking the day off about five minutes from the train station. It had been my intention to use this extra day off to clean my room, but so far, it's only about half done. Have no idea what I did with the rest of the time I wasn't cleaning. x_____x;;;; Didn't nap, didn't watch any TV, didn't play any video games. Oh! Had some excruciating cramps, but luckily had come across a giant bottle of Tylenol while cleaning. Also, lost one mouse for twenty minutes. O____O;; She's back in her newly cleaned cage now, though. Midna (bunny) has already messed up and thrown a fit in her cage also. Once I finish this post, I've got ferret bedding to change, a shower, nighttime meds, and then it's off to dream land~!
Even with the cramps, still feeling happy from a great trip to Colorado and from being able to spend so much time with Reid~! :O
- Mood:
tired
Anyway, Midna will only be staying with me until Gryphon's condo sells. Then she will go live with her, and if that doesn't work out up on Petfinder she will go. Will take some pictures of Midna and the other residents of my growing zoo (Sweetie, Scruffy Buffy, Mr. Nips/Brownie, Mal(kins), Baby, Dru, and Darla) weather and time permitting.
On the work front...things are still kinda dumb. It turns out Purina, who is the country's lead manufacturer of rodent diet, changed some of their formulas without informing anyone. They lowered the Vitamin A content on the special diet intended for breeding animals. For a good six months now, several of our mutant mice (who are missing enzymes related to vitamin a metabolism) have been having difficulty breeding. It's nice to finally have something to blame for that. I ordered a new diet (also made by Purina, but is usually used for breeding rats) that has a better Vitamin A content. In a month or so we'll be able to see if their problems raising babies was diet related or not.
Other than that, shaved 15 minutes off my commute by riding the bus to St Nicholas Ave and then taking the A train the rest of the way to work. A good part of shortening how long it takes me to come home rides on when I actually leave. The day I left early some crappy rush hour traffic made me miss the train I had been planning to catch.
Started reading A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain. It's pretty funny actually. I didn't realize 'dude' was in use in the 1880s. Once I'm finished with that, my Birds of Prey came in so I'll start on those. XD;; And after that I'll have my H.P. Lovecraft book to finish. Got a copy of Wicked somewhere around here too that I was 2/3s into about two years ago... x___x
Oh yeah, next week I'm heading to Colorado and GOING TO PROM with Reid. It's not a real prom (as cool as a person that would make me, 26 and landing a date to a high school prom) but one held by the Children's Hospital of Denver. o___o Kind of want to get some acrylic nails for nostalgia purposes. Also did some video conferencing with Reid today, but all I did was show off all the new animals I had acquired since he's been gone. If anything, I hope it served as encouragement for a swift return, else I adopt something else in the mean time. I did recently find out that Zyrtec seems to successfully block the allergies I get from cats and bunnies.... Hmmmmm.... :o

And only on day 2 of commuting! I will have to do this at least until the end of the month. On June 30 Peter and his girlfriend are being forced to leave the apartment. But until then, I can't move in and I must live at home, riding the train. @_@ It wouldn't be so bad if there was a decent way to get cross town at 125th street. The bus takes around 45 minutes!!
Maybe walking (but all my shoes are in storage!) or 42 street would be better (two subway transfers, my face already has enough pimples right now!).

This would probably be something a bit more to enjoy if I could have found the insole a ferret took out of my sneakers. x_x Also, maybe I'll actually be able to walk home before dark~! With the going in early (for me) and all.

So if you haven't made an account already, please follow my referral link. Each chump I get to sign up gets me 100 more points, and that means 100 points for DAWS. Annnd...if you select DAWS as your shelter to help, that's another 100 points right there. They are currently in eighth place.
I'm not exactly sure how long that part of the contest is running, but if not you'll help me beat my mom in getting more points, hehe.

Actually, I took a whole video of me trying to wake Malkins up while he was sleeping in my bed, too... XD;;;
Yes, this is the most productive thing I did with my weekend... ._.;
In other news, Reid is getting out of the hospital next week! Yay!! I wanted to visit, but everyone decided it would be better to wait until things are less crazy around there.
Also, comic con was awesome. I'm reading old Birds of Prey now, and added Wonder Woman to my reading list thanks to Gail Simone. I never really liked WW until I read a free preview of one of her first issues on the title...and it was amazing. :O Also got to hear Grant Morrison (omg so cute accent!! and even cuter comments about killing Batman!!), Geoff Johns, Dan Didio and other such DC people. Thanks Mulan for sitting through all the DC crap with me!!!<3
