Ive been well pretty absent of late and i apologise.

Nothing exciting is happening with me really. Which is a major reason why i havent updated in so long!

Ive been handed a copy of rome season 2! so im all excited about watching that later tonight!

My muse is finally coming back and im planning quite a few blackadder, rome and chaser icons over at my comm sometime in the future...

im not quite back. and im not quite all that worried by it. I like having some more time to myself rather than sitting on the net all the time like i used to (no offence to anyone at all- but i had an unhealthy internet habit).

whats new i hear everyone ask?

-ive moved stores. still working for corporate maccas, but moved to a nicer store. much much much less violent, much less stress, much nicer managers. need i say much more?
-I love my place. yes it looks like shit today and im going home to clean it but i love it. and its coming together so nicely at the moment! (still renovating tho my landlords are close to finishing really)
-my boy is away working til the middle of next week, and i miss him, and he misses me.
-im very happy and content
-im working on a few select things ive been trying to focus on. Ive needed to de stress with everything and chill out. I like this new laid back attitude. I think it suits me nicely!
-Im addicted to Dr Who. I love the doctor & martha, and i only became addicted after i got hooked on torchwood.

anything else:
-my sister in law is pregnant again, and im really looking forward to another adorable neice or nephew. Its older sibling Grace is the cutest child on the planet so i am sure it will be just as if not more adorable.
-seriously thinking about saving a heap of money up and travelling/working in europe for a couple of months next year. but i have to save money up first. :/

im not all that overly interested in NRL, or any of its associated sagas.
i wish the ABC had like a bbc world channel that had ABC news and current affairs (ala foreign correspondent 24/7 free to air)
and i think ive worked out that the chaser is like media watch, michael moore and punkd rolled into one.

and now im struggling to finish my update.

oh well im going home to sleep (worked overnight last night) and then im getting up to watch Dr Who and go dancing tonight...

well i have some news- im back! and i have the net and im very happy with my new place!

Apart from that not alot has been happening with me. Just work and uni work and uni.

Broke my phone during crappy august and its getting fixed in sydney on saturday when i go down there for a family thing on the weekend.

ummmm what else... nup thats it really.

if you havent heard there was a flood.

I pretty much just got my car home and then decided to stay put nice and sound on a hill...

Its been crazy- beached coal freighter here, floods there, exams etc etc

but i just found something really disturbing..

Anna, Jess, Steph- tell me whether you know where this picture is taken from.

I was kinda freaked when i worked it out.



Im more than just a little bit freaked out about that...

Moral of the story:

-we have a beached 700 Tonne ship on a beach infront of the harbour- this is going to affect the economy if it breaks up and spews toxic crap everywhere
-we had severe flooding. I have a friend whos place was destroyed. they need to demolish and rebuild. Insurance company only giving them 70 000 bucks to rebuild a 400 000 dollar house
-there is debris everywhere
-all this flood water is probably polluted with sewerage
-there are a number of suburbs totally screwed by this. let alone the number of people now out of work thanks to this...

I caught up with my ex (aka "him") last night weve been broken up for a month and well things seem back to the fun good old days. So god only knows whats going to happen there.

I did however sneak out, jump in the car and pick "him" up and crash at his last night. It was fun just talking about things and the family stuff and watching a couple of movies. *sigh* Just hoping he stays the nice awesome "him" that i love, not the jackass arsehole that his friends try and turn him into from time to time...

Uni today was good, when i finally turned up. Had a debate in the tut. Tutor is someone ive never had before but he seems cool.

I go back to work tomorrow. I dont have to do anything else but buy elastoplast to stick over my blisters (damn new shoes!) and go to work. Ill be happy for a nice quiet day!

i tried snagging the new GA at uni (only place i can get internet access atm) and its just not letting me.

im still in haitus land. Hopefully not for too much longer cos ive started my new job this week.

I have access to the internet at mum and dads but i seem to be eating their bandwith allocation (no downloads or anything) in around about 14 days. So hence why i havent been on here much.

im back at uni and the fate of my degree will be decided sometime thursday morning.

Ive been keeping up with Greys Anatomy with help from some excellent friends. They know who they are and well when my new place is set up they can come and mooch bandwith off me any time they like!

in other GA stuff: ive seen the first 6 mins and 27 seconds of the latest ep... OH MY GOOOOOOD LOOOOOOOOORD! yeah now i get that its as explosive and amazing as everyone has been saying. Im not going to spoil but yeah.

I couldnt find a decent place to move to so i had to move back into mum and dads. And hence my fat tube of an internet connection is gone and has been replaced by mum and dads tiny tube *sobs*

- My job: i have been offered a job with McDonalds but i dont know when im starting because theyre hiring 45 people and well cant seem to organise an orientation or a phonecall letting us all know that everythings cool.

Im feeling alot older now that sevenpuddings is just about to head off to uni. *sigh* im forseeing quite a few roadtrips down in the near future lol.

I think ill leave it at that at the moment. Im beginning to ramble... lol

and so begins the week from hell...

ok guys im on Haitus. Dont know when ill be posting regularly again but i sure as hell hope its sooner rather than later.

This week has started with me being employed (yay! finally [and naturally i had a couple of people contact wanting me for interviews as well... when it rains it pours...] ). And its probably going to end with me being pseudo homeless for a couple of days or weeks.

I have to move places cos my old flatmate (loveable but as thick as a lead brick) decided she wanted to move around australia and although im pseudo family she wanted off the lease. I didnt think the real estate would approve of the child painted walls so im gunna move. But i havent been able to find anywhere yet. So im gunna be off LJ and off iconing for a little while til everything gets sorted.

I have a concert (Muse *suqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*) on Wed Night and ive got to be out of here on Thursday.

So that means me and all of my stuff are going to have to squeeze back into the 'rents (probably within the next 24 hrs) and crash with the boyfriend or at a friends place til i fond somewhere.

I should be back in fine form within 2ish weeks but i cant say anything certain at the moment. Ugh. I just wanna find somewhere to live...

anyways enough whingeing. Hope everyone has an excellent couple of days while i pack and move... somewhere... lol

Im finally steam rolling through s7 of the West Wing. and after that i should be able to cap and icon more freely.

so I shall be back bigger and better with as many icons as my Hdd's can fill soon! I promise!

well theres news and a pretty new layout for all five or so of you to marvel over!

I finally (after months and months talking about it with sevenpuddings) got around to working out my layout.

so what does everyone think? of the banner, the colours etc?

i hate telstra. theyre annoying and unhelpful. extremly unhelpful. doesnt help that im a know it all...

and that I was right. I was right all along. My ISP isnt responsible for them failing to check the cables that they are laying down actually work. Thats Telstra's job the main thing tho is that i was right. i was right all along

um so heres a short update on my life:

- im still trapped in this cast. it sucks at times. other times its good. im seriously giving myself another week before im begging for someone to cut the damn thing off. its just a small undisplaced fracture. i dont need all this fuss in my life
- im in my new house. im only living at one place and paying rent for one place at the moment (thank god). tho i still have my chinese ex flatmate that calls me all the time calling about some rent that i owe. i know and my old (great) flatmate johann both know ill sort that out soon enough.
- im pretty sure that ive lost my best friend. i should have seen this coming a little sooner but only time will tell me whether things work out in the end.
- my car, my beautiful wonderful car is all fixed, un-dinged and prettyful.
- my boyfriend is awesome. i dont know whats got into him of late but hes just becoming so perfect. i got taken to the ocean baths two days in a row to cool off. it was pretty awesome.

oh and i was made redundant. so there goes my job after 30 nov... im talking to my people who are talking to their people and i might get a job doing one of the following:

- Kmart chick
- TAB chick
- Hospital food deliverer
- McDodgy's overnight worker ...

time will only tell what happens. Im currently watching greys s3, and the end of s6 of OZ. Now that Beacher is free and Sayid and Hill are dead ive kinda lost interest a little bit. But its HBO so its still freakin awesome.

hopefully i might do some washing/housework (i dont know how im not falling and killing myself in this room atm) and some uni work this week so that next week i can do some photoshopping!

so its been 2 years and looking for screencaps i actually managed to remeber i had a LJ.

well now im back and reconstructing it.
