I'm finally back to my normal schedule! Well, it was because this weekend I had to attend the PPF Film Showing. I wasn't able to attend the last one since I was abroad, so I missed this event.

Anyway, we did a marathon on akihabara@DEEP which was a story about a group of otaku and their misadventures. First comment, I LIKE THEIR OFFICE!! Well, the setup was really nice, and you're typically living with your friends who share your interests, so I guess that got into me XD. Hmm, now it makes me dream again..

In the middle of the film showing was also the Nodame Cantabile specials. Well, I can say I'm a fan of classical music, so I was able to relate a tiny little bit (I dunno about old musicians and stuff), and it's also one of my dreams to be able to hear a grand orchestra live in an auditorium (preferrably playing game music XD).

The whole event started around 4PM Saturday and ended 7PM Sunday. Quite a marathon eh? And oh, Carding just came home from Japan. Welcome back home!

Now I'd surely like to go to Akihabara, but I guess you'd need a ton of money to survive there as a tourist. Well, not exaggerating, but I will spend to the last yen if I ever get there XD. Maybe in the near future. Maybe I'll bring my imouto there as well.

Nothing much else to blog. Growing addicted to PangYa again since I got Kooh already <3. So I guess you might not see too often online or almost afk since I'm playing the game.

EDIT: I just learned that Izm was originally an androgenous bishounen in the novel version. I'd say the change to the female was for the best XD. Imouto IZM FTW!!

It's been a rainy weekend, and there's a storm in fact. Last Saturday and Sunday I was at work (which just involved staring into the monitor the whole day waiting for something to happen, so what I did was goof around the PC or just sleep) and it was drizzling nonstop. Up until now the rain hasn't let up.

Good thing I don't have work today and tomorrow so i can have a good night's sleep. I guess the weekend rest helped in toning down this cough and cold that I got before the weekend (and got worse on Saturday I think). Oh, and Curry Friday was great. I'm looking forward to more curry nights.

70% of this day I think I consumed on just playing Pangya in order to get cute little Kooh as my player. Now I need to dress her up. XD

Now that I think of it, I wish I had at least 1 week of vacation just to bum myself out here while the weather is cool. But then again, I'm the type of person who's restless when at home for too long.

So nothing much, just typing away, and I think I'll be sleeping a bit earlier tonight since I have work the next day after tomorrow.

I applied for a leave last week (which took effect yesterday). And then I get a mail about "taking leaves without notice." It's not my problem if you don't check what you're supposed to approve or reject. Well yeah maybe I should've notified you in person, but I think I notified my team leader about the leave.

Anyway, what's done is done. Oh, and thank you for the additional work day.

Just turned 23 today. The day wasn't a big one like last year, but it was satisfying nonetheless. I had my first attempt at cooking carbonara but the sauce wasn't enough for the pasta, which made it a bit bland. So I guess, next try would be a success now. Relatives visited and I realized I haven't blown a birthday cake candle for years XD

I was literally drifting in and out of consciousness the whole day in office yesterday. Yeah, I'm still ranting on how I'm bored with this work and I need to get a new one.

The only times I'm half-awake yesterday were

2. Eating
3. Watching
4. Playing FFTA2

Slept earlier than the usual midnight (I think it was 10:30) but looks like I need more. I would've taken yet another a day off from the office but I'm currently on support (curse you support, curse you Minnesota work). I just hope Yehey calls me asap cause I'll be fixing everything in no time once they gave me a go signal.

Hou.. Yehey emailed me for an interview schedule this Friday. Hmm.. I want to attend it, para na rin magauge kung magugustuhan ko ang pwesto. I'm applying for PHP developer by the way. I don't have the "expertise" because most of my PHP knowledge is self taught, and just in case I get accepted, I would drown myself in books and other learning materials (web design/development is my PASSION). Now, the only problem is, magkano kaya ang sweldo XD.

On a side note, I'm in a very good mood today. XD

I know I need a new job. It's that time that you know you aren't even enjoying your job anymore, so much that you don't really care.

I might be looking for some opportunities in Singapore, but as much as possible, I'd like to stay here, but with a higher pay.

You can't spell sprain without pain. And yeah, I sprained my right ankle by missing the last step on my way down a stairway. It was aching bad that I had to ride a taxi to work today. I can walk it a bit, but it still hurts. Talk about Friday 13th mishaps. >_>

Anyway, today is supposed to be the first day of Toycon 2008. I'll be dropping by to find me some Kona-chan figures I guess. I just hope my foot gets better by the end of my shift.

P.S. I forgot to post this earlier. It's just a bout an amusingly weird dream.
The last thing I remember, I was in a location that looks like a training facility, but a small one (SM North Quantum small). There were a few rooms and I had a map with various locations marked with letters indicating a PC is located there. I reach the "quarters" and found several of the Antarcticans there (all I can remember being there was Dee, Zae, Kel, Mau, Hao, and a girl that is not an Antarctican which I think is somehat of a filler character). I asked where's my bed and I had to choose. I settled for a vacant one since someone already took the good spot (and I forgot who it is). Then the next thing I remember, there was a fire, and we each grabbed the nearest fire extinguisher we can find. I remember the material that the fire extinguisher had, and it was something like of a dusty dark green substance that easily put out the fire. Another weird thing is the fire extinguisher was labeled as "NAPALM" which also, weirdly registered during my dream as a type of plant (maybe because of the PALM word). NAPALM extinguishes flames, how nice.

Then after all that excitement (funny, I didn't feel as excited as I would be during a fire), the rooms are still mysteriously unscathed by the fire, and me, Dee, and Kel went outside. The outside area looked like the parking lot near my office by the way. A fighter plane (the old models where the pilot isn't convered) landed casually, and I wondered if I could try and fly that thing.

Yeah, so random.. >_>

I don't like Mondays in general, due to the hectic rush hour in the morning. I have a better schedule now since I have nor work on Mondays. Still, if Tuesday still happens to be the first work day of the week, there's no change. Rant rant rant! Bleh!

Anyway, I'm planning to overhaul my journal's design so expect it in a few days I guess.
