Keep on eye on Project 365 to see a new photograph everyday. One of my new year's "resolutions" is to actively involve myself in creating art each day; my two main explorations are in photography and writing. I'm failing miserably in the writing section but I have taken photographs.

I'm open to all criticism, positive or negative. I'm also open to badgering on how I'm not going to make it to the end of the year.

P.S. I wrote a lot in December. Most of it is in the last ten days but there are a couple of entries before that, too.

In related news, Brackett is the new Associate Provost. I'm thrilled for him and for the University. Finally, some competency in a top office.

But, bummed for myself. I was looking forward to taking another class with him, having him as a thesis advisor, just an advisor in general. I doubt that any of that is possible any more. I'll certainly miss going up to 15 and randomly running into him and having all kinds of ridiculous conversations. Some how, going up to the stuffy 18th floor in the middle of all the top administrators won't be the same.
