I think I am getting sick, though it's hard to tell. I'm still in pain from the alleged pinched nerve. But I feel more icky then usual.
I'm getting samurai dvds from the library :) yay

| Ichi update |

So I took Ichi into a vet tonight. I was able to grab an 8:20pm appt. that someone else can canceled on. They checked him out, gave him some saline under the skin to hydrate him. They checked his stool sample which was a terrible sample because it was liquid and full of litter, but they didn't find any worm evidence. They gave him some de-worming medicine anyways to eliminate the 2 most common types of worms. They then gave him some kinda of medicine for his GI tract to help with the vomiting and diarrhea and I have 7 doses to give him once a day. We're to keep an eye on him and let the vet know how he's doing. Oh and it was only $56. They recommended getting some yogurt for him which will help his system too.
I really hope he's ok, I've gotten pretty attached to the little dude over the last 2 weeks.
So send all your good vibes, and get well soon wishes towards little Ichi.

So we've been watching lots of Japanese and Chinese movies lately. I really enjoyed 'The Forbidden Kingdom' and 'Legend of the Black Scorpion' I highly recommend both. We watched 'Ran' the other night and it was cool but LONG and slow at times but it was still good (I think Estes and H both fell asleep).
We watched a 'Zatoichi' movie, I think one of the first ones ah yes 'The Tale of Zatoichi' that was the one. I enjoyed that, and there are tons more of that 'series'.
We've got 'Kill'(Kiru) and 'Ugetsu' to watch yet. We might watch 'Kill' tonight.
I think Asian cinema is one of my all time favorite genres of film.
On that note, we're thinking of naming the kitten 'Ichi the Killer'. Its up in the air but we like that and he is quite rambunctious and loves to play/fight.

Ugh terrible sleep last night, not much of it and I was sleeping very lightly as not to squish the baby kitty.
I'm crashing, the coffee is wearing off. Damn that was good coffee.
Does anyone have any leads on jobs? I've been looking and not coming up with anything downtown. Keep in mind I don't own a car so I'm limited by that but I do have a bicycle and am willing to ride the bus if the job is worth it.
I think I'll take a nap with the kitten now, then get up and try to be productive.

My entire day was pretty much spent watching Kitchen Nightmares. I also did some cleaning between episodes :)
I dunno what it is about Gordon Ramsay but I freaking Love that guy, he's such a hard ass and an incredible chef I am in awe. I only wish I was half as good as that guy at cooking and being a total dick.
Man these kitties are being so lovey lately, Ivan is on my lap as I type this and Bucho spent a while up here earlier too. Now if only they'd teach Pook a bit about being more lovey. :) See she's H's baby, wont cuddle with me :p That's why I wanna get me a little baby boy kitty, the boys seem to like me more.

I forgot to mention in my last post but our phone is being turned off Thursday (July 24th), we are having the internet speed upgraded and are going to use Skype for telephone service. We'll be getting the new number within the next couple days and I'll let you all know.

I cut my hair today, well trimmed, quite a bit though. I think I took off about 10 inches or so off the back and trimmed just a few inches off the front. Its in an A-line style now.
Wish I had a camera to take a picture. I put in yellow and bright green extensions in, took out the pink I was tired of it.
I think I'm quitting smoking again, its been since Tuesday since I've had one. We'll see how it goes though.
