Happy Simon Pegg day!

Surprise your sweetie or BFF or partner-in-crime with a viewing Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz or any other Simon Pegg movie.

And Simon, you only turn 38 once!

Yeah, I know, what part of my life can't be related to Cat and Girl.

Getting Christmas-centric.
What's your favorite Christmas carol?

That's mine.

It doesn't matter who sings it, but why not delicious boyband harmonies? See also: Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Hanson, and any other ghosts of pop, Present, Past or Future, who would like to sing that song. I'm down with that.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

And if you don't believe anything, then I hope Christmas displays entertain you, at the least.

The good thing about having a unicorn obsession is that while studying for an exam, I find a doodle of a unicorn every couple of pages. It's a great stress reliever.

you can be ashamed, but you won't find nothing new
  • I love every band that Colin Clary has been in.
  • I woke up ill in a new way, all funky head and nausea. This, too, shall pass.
  • I'm drinking V8 juice and bad cafeteria coffee. Vegetables and caffeine.
  • It's eight days until my birthday. 22 is either really young or really old, depending on who you are as a person.
  • I slept with wet hair, and now it's wild and feathery like the year of my birth.
  • I still feel really young and immature and stupid.
  • Twee!

Does anyone at Hollins want to go see The Everybodyfields at 202 Market on September 29th? They're indie-alt-country-something-or-other. I'm smitten with them, and the cover charge is only six dollars. Yes, I'm willing to pay to go inside instead of just hanging around.

It'll be fun! Not punk rock or hardcore or even beer-soaked hipsters. But fun!

I'm convinced that there is nothing worse than walking a lot in the cold (March) rain and worms.

But there is nothing better than getting into dry clothes, so it's okay.

Remember how amazing Bubble Boy was?

Let's just say the 1976 made for tv version starring John Travolta? Is even better.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0074236/

It even has ROBERT REED in it. ROBERT REED. And a cameo apperance by BUZZ ALDRIN!
