excellent fun leaf peeping
jessamyn and greg were our most excellent hosts on friday and saturday fir our foray into vermont leaf peeping.

vermont has really only begun to leaf change, and as of this weekend, it was patchy, but very pretty all the same.

friday was the visit to the apartment in bethel, and the awesome dented can store. we're poor, and not fussy about dented cans, so we made out like bandits.

saturday was *really* cold and *really* rainy, but jessamyn is keen, and got us out and about for rainy fun. we hit the twice annual rummage sale, then a fall parade that seemed to be attended by most surrounding towns, eve in the rain.

interspersed in the driving fun was grilled chicken sausages, chrononauts, the unexploded cow, and napping near the wood stove on the couch that made me sleep.

a break well needed, and well had. and a hearty thanx to our hosts.

go to vermont. it's chilly, pretty, happy, inexpensive, populated with good folk, and *relaxing*.
