Python seminar, etc.
The Python seminar went fine. Have a few pics, but they'll have to wait until at least Monday. Thanks to [info]mannu for reviewing the slides. As Manish puts it, hope to get a few “Python converts”. The seminar slides are available here.

After the seminar I went to play table tennis (sort of my current obsession), and this guy comes in telling me that I have to volunteer for the “Treasure Hunt” (part of Iris '04, I think). Anyway, due to some odd reason, volunteers were not required, and I became part of our class' team. One car, four bikes, and twelve of us! We finished only sixth, but it was great fun.

For me "MT" == "Machine Translation".

BTW, is that ("MT programming") the popular usage or is it your style? I have never used this form in my life.

Referring to multi-threaded programming as “MT programming” is popular usage, I think.
