My Mabuhay Miles "miles" will expire next year. I have to check whether it's March or April. It's not much, but enough to get a one-way ticket to somewhere in the Philippines. I'll just buy a return ticket.

I didn't want to go to Cebu and Davao. Been there, been that. Palawan is too expensive. Bohol is okay but I was thinking-----ILOCOS!!! Norte, not Sur. The last time I was there was with my dad, Garding and dad's mom, Lola Ima. I think it was in 1985. Papa said it was one of the memorable trips he made. I think he misses Lola.

Anyway, I read about it again from Preview magazine , May 2008, which had KC Concepcion on the cover. Norman Crisologo wrote something about it. Oh my goodness, Pagudpud, you look so good!

I WANNA WATCH!!!

An absolute true story, in 1994 (or was it 1995) I had a birthday party at a resort in Pansol, Laguna. My maternal grand aunt took care of the reservations and asked me to invite my friends over. Three of my friends (Marie, Pat, Jai) went to the party but had to go home in the evening. My mom and I agreed papa would be the designated driver. Unfortunately, my dad drank too much beer, tsk, tsk so he was really sleepy driving back to Manila. My friends decided to make loud chit-chat to waken my dad up. To top it off, it was drizzling that night (July).

I know, it's getting long. But I do have a point.

So, there they were, driving and chatting loudly when they got into a traffic jam near the Bicutan exit. You know how it is with SLEX, it's South Super traffic. Anyways, there they were stuck in traffic when Marie notices a bunch of guys on the car next to them making faces and waving their hands. She motioned Pat and Jai to look and they couldn't help but gush and giggle because some boys were fawning over them. Then Pat noticed that these guys looked ODDLY familiar. Jai tried to remember who they were when one of the guys wrote something on their (the boys) car's window. There was moist so the guy was able to write on it. She saw that he was writing his phone number which started with an 89. But since my friends were really busy keeping my dad awake, they didn't bother writing the number down. When they got to Jai's place, they switched on the TV and watched MTV or something. Right that minute, the Eraserheads came on.

They were the same guys on the car at South Super traffic!

I commute. Gas prices are going up and everybody is up to their necks because of these inflation issues. So seeing this inside the jeepney one afternoon, I can't help but wonder. Do I laugh or get mad? For the record, this kind of sentence construction (it's not even a sentence!) is a major pet peeve. So if you want to irk me, send me a text message similar to this and for sure I'll be screaming at high heavens to let the earth eat me alive.

Looking at this, I am seriously doubting what JINUSEAN were thinking back in the day. The picture distracted me for a solid 20 minutes, I laughed my butt off. Anyway, thanks to exoxendo for the link about JS. It looks like GREAT NEWS! They are planning a come back, recording a new album AND a guesting on YDH's Love Letter! ACKKKKKK!!!

Yes. The end is in the horizon. I am almost out of breath in anticipation and I feel a little bit taken a back because it's going to be a new thing for me. New beginnings, moving on, what great blessings to have especially in a very cruel society.

According to darksydinme of youtube.com, they are a Filipino circus act but there are some doubts. However, starting from 8:05, when Boom (kpop artist) starts talking to one of the sirkeros, ayan na. Her name is Marie and she says" I will gib you a plower". There you go, classic Filipino B & V-P& F defect. By the way, one of them knows how to sing and speak hangeul, to the delight of the guests. Let's call him Kuya Scarf because he has the Jiyong scarf. I think he even sang one of the songs of the guest he shook hands with. And the Kuya Scarf knew proper respects toward a sunbae, lolz!  Amazing!!! Funny how the host, Ho Dong, was quite baffled learning that Kuya Scarf knew Hangeul.

Some of the comments on youtube were funny. I hope somebody puts English subs on this clip so we'd understand because I think this is Kuya Scarf's entire family: his wife, his daughter, his 2 brothers. What do you guys think?
