Jebus Murphy...
Just got back from helping my frinds Mel and Leahy move from Sudbury to Windsor. talk about a boring drive all by yourself. We had a big convoy of vehicles led by a 28' Uhaul van. Took us just over 7 hours driving. We shoulda got Droz to drive the Uhaul. prolly could have done the trip in under 6 hours. :)
This kicks ass that they're in windsor. I used to commute from windsor to oshawa once a week when I was in school in windsor, so it doesn't seem like it's that far of a trip. Though my aging Saturn might disagree. So hopefully I can go up and visit them more than twice in a year.
All in all, just shy of 1700 km driven by me this weekend. I'm going to have to pay for an oil change for my dad's van.
Well, I'm tired as hell. Off to bed I go.... |

Sweetness!
I stayed up until 2am working on my dad's/nephew's computer upgrades. Now my nephew can play CS:Source and have it look pretty good, and it won't stutter on him all the time.
The computer went from having:
Duron 1200 CPU
512 MB RAM
20GB Hard Drive
to:
Sempron 2800 CPU
1GB RAM
80GB Hard Drive
Grand total $275. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
Well, looks like I'm playing CS:Source all night tonight with him. Heh heh... |

You know what really grinds my gears?
Tim Hortons.
There. I said it. I hate tim hortons, and all the people who flock there to because of their need to drink tim's god-awful burned coffee. And what more, I hate the idiots who sit it the fucking drive-thru and make the line SO GODDAM LONG that they start lining up in the streets! YOU PEOPLE ARE MORONS!!! The two things that piss me off the most is 1. the fact that tim's seems to think that their coffee cup is a bigger canadian symbol than the maple leaf. get over yourselves. seriously. and 2. all the green house gas that is created from the drive-thru. why is it that in the summer we can't idle a car for more than 2 minutes, but people all over the gta can sit in a drive thru for 10 minutes?

You know what really grinds my gears?
Thos stupid parking spots for "Expectant mothers, and mother's with children" WTF is up with that? First of all, I'm fatter than most pregnant women. So why the hell should't I get my own damn parking spot. And second, women who have just had babies need more exercise if they want to lose all that weight they've gained during pregnancy. if anything, they should be parking further away.
And furthermore, I've yet to see an LCBO with these designated spots. What the hell happened to women "having a choice" when it comes to their pregnancy.
