Orientation for my new job is today. :) ...I am now a proud cashier at wal-mart. *victory music* Lynn got the job with me, so it's cool that I'll get to work with her. Not to mention Terra, Emily, and Logan work there too. ...And I must say, $7.40/hr isnt too bad for starting. I was expecting to get much worse than that. Heh.
Orientation for SCHOOL was last Friday. It was a little weird. I only went to the first hour of it, then left at noon. ...It was supposed to last until 9pm, but I just wasnt into it. Lynn on the other hand was going insane. I can't even BEGIN to describe what a people person she is. Every single person she saw she was like "HI! I'M LYNN, WHAT'S YOUR NAME? :D" I was just like "...*stares at person* ... *walks away*" ...I've never really liked people that much, and I've never had the desire to make friends. But we have a class called Critical Inquiry, which is basically a "make friends in college!" class. ...I hate it terribly. It's the reason I left orientation. But even after that shitty day, I'm actually still excited about college... it'll feel so good getting to work again. I dropped out of school when I was 16 years old. Now I'm 18. It's been a while.
...on a random note, change is quite interesting. I usually hate it. But sometimes people change for the better, and it makes me so fucking proud. ^^
OH. And i just got done watching "The Hitcher" ... what a shitty movie. What happened to good horror?? A horror movie can be amazing without a single drop of blood... don't know why Hollywood must make them all so gory. It's rather lame.

I love how the lyrics to songs touch so many people in so many ways. I mean, I know it sounds lame, but I'm just in love with when a song's lyrics aren't too concrete... so they can mean whatever the listener wants them to mean. ^^ Music is one thing that's always connected us together -- the best cure to anything even slightly mentally disrupting.

I officially got my schedule for college today... looks like I actually got into that basic design class, so I'll be taking 5 classes instead of 4... which I was kind of bummed about at first, but 5 classes 3 days a week isn't bad, and basic design will be really fun.

Critial Inquiry 11:00am - 11:50am
Algebra 12:00pm - 12:50pm
Basic Design 1:00pm - 1:50pm
Comp I 2:00pm - 2:50pm
Monday, Wednesday, Friday

So I was sitting at my desk today, typing away on my laptop, and suddenly a message popped up saying "disk clean up" -- because my computer has no more space on it. **Note that my laptop is just 60gb, but I also have two 60gb external harddrives**. And then I looked down, and there it was: another album being downloaded.
Yes, I am a pirate. I am addicted to downloading music.
I'm not quite sure when this actually happened, because I used to be strictly against downloading music. I literally have about $1,000 worth of japanese cds... no telling how much money I've spent buying non-foreign ones. ...And now, here I am, 10,000+ songs on my itunes, and I haven't bought a cd in over a year.
I DONT WANNA BE A PIRATE! :'(
Thankfully, I think this addiction will pass once I get a job again. I sent in about 7 applications today, so hopefully I will be a lady with money to spend to support the artists she loves so much again. Until then, I'm not sure how I'm going to solve this problem. Haha
Buuut, besides that, I finally got around to registering my college classes today. I got accepted months ago... I'm just such a procrastinator that it took me this long to make my schedule. x_x I'm very happy with it, though. All my classes are bunched together from 10am - 3pm, and I only have them Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. ^_^ That gives me time to have a job, so I can save up to travel next summer. ♥
...AND OMG ONLY 4 MORE DAYS UNTIL BREAKING DAWN IS RELEASED! AHHH! :D
