So it's anxiety?

Whatever I said in my last post became so prominent the last half of the week, I eventually had to cut my working day short and visit the doctor, the dizziness became rather unbearable.
So basically I went to a nearby doctor's office by my home and he talked to me and asked me questions (including asking me if I have sisters/brothers). By the end of the diagnosis, he also asked me to do a squat into a standstill quickly to see how I feel.
And his answer to whatever that's going through me is that: 1. Anxiety is partially causing these symptoms (one which included before was shortness of breath). This is most likely caused by work pressure, he said. 2. I have okay blood pressure, but they're on the lower side.
The funny thing is that when he told me to do that squat-stand thingy, I said I felt a little dizzy. He said it's common to lower blood pressure people. He also mentioned that this kind of blood pressure is more closely associated to women, to which I had a hueg WTF inside my head.
Another thing he said is that my blood isn't circulating that good. When you look at your fingernails, the bottom part should have some 'white stuff' on it. He said that if you're healthy enough, all 5 fingers should have it. Currently, I have 3 fingers who have that on each of my hand. And he said the tip of the fingers should not look as pale too. That's a little Chinese medicine thingy that he's telling me but at least he's giving out useful info.
At the end he told me to eat sum vitamins (which he gave me two days' worth of dosage lol), along with Xanax, which helps in curing anxiety.
So yeah, at least I think this is helping. I do feel better now. |

Maybe I really need to rest more

Recently I'm getting some degrees of dizziness, difficulty on focusing (both on my eyes and concentration), and a few headaches. It may be my glasses partially, since I've been wearing them for a few years, but I don't think that's the main reason. It's also as if I have a flu but the most prominent symptoms (coughing, fever etc) aren't apparent (yet).
I don't think my body is breaking down at this age though, but I think I should do a body check sometime soon. There may be hidden things that I don't know in my body. Last time I checked, the doctor said I'm perfectly normal, so based on that assumption at least what's happening this past half-year may be the culprit. And that is the lack of a healthy sleep.
Anyway, more sleep is in order. It's not like I'm going to die soon, but I think that I have some catching up to do. |

I usually don't look forward to watching movies much but after reading the manga 20th Century Boys, there's something I'm going to look forward to.
The manga got a creepy streak all the way through, but it was a really really good read.
Me recently finishing the manga coincides with its live action movie, which is supposedly coming out later this month. You can find the official site here: http://www.20thboys.com |

Think of it as typing of the dead except you're typing lyrics instead of random words. And yeah, all of them are either anime/video game songs. |

Your result for The Personality Defect Test... RobotYou are 86% Rational, 0% Extroverted, 14% Brutal, and 0% Arrogant.
You are the Robot! You are characterized by your rationality. In fact, this is really ALL you are characterized by. Like a cold, heartless machine, you are so logical and unemotional that you scarcely seem human. For instance, you are very humble and don't bother thinking of your own interests, you are very gentle and lack emotion, and you are also very introverted and introspective. You may have noticed that these traits are just as applicable to your laptop as they are to a human being. You are not like the robots they show in the movies. Movie robots are make-believe, because they always get all personable and likeable after being struck by lightning, or they are cold, cruel killing machines. In all reality, though, you are much more boring than all that. Real robots just sit there, doing their stupid jobs, and doing little else. If you get struck by lightning, you won't develop a winning personality and heart of gold. (Robots don't have hearts, silly, and if they did, they would probably be made of steel, not gold.) You also won't be likely to terrorize humanity by becoming an ultra-violent killing machine sent into the past to kill the mother of a child who will lead a rebellion against machines, because that movie was dumb as hell, and because real robots don't kill--they horribly maim at best, and they don't even do that on purpose. Real robots are boringly kind and all too rarely try to kill people. In all my years, my laptop has only attacked me once, and that was only because my brother threw it at me. In short, your personality defect is that you don't really HAVE a personality. You are one of those annoying, super-logical people that never gets upset or flustered. Unless, of course, you short circuit. Or if someone throws a pie at you. Pies sure are delicious.
To put it less negatively:
1. You are more RATIONAL than intuitive.
2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.
3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.
4. You are more HUMBLE than arrogant.
Compatibility:
Your exact opposite is the Class Clown.
Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Hand-Raiser, the Emo Kid, and the Haughty Intellectual.
*
*
If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.
The other personality types:
The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.
The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.
The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.
The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.
The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.
The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.
The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.
The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.
The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.
The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.
The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.
The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.
The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.
The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.
The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.
The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.
Be sure to take my Sublime Philosophical Crap Test if you are interested in taking a slightly more intellectual test that has just as many insane ramblings as this one does!

- Beat Squenix's "The World Ends With You." I like the style and its decidedly different tone on the surface (even though it's still mostly grindlvlbuzting). The only real complaint is that I don't really have two pairs of eyes that will look at what's happening on the top screen AND the bottom screen simultaneously. The answer is to screw what happened in the upper screen and keep pressing the same direction, or just let the CPU do it for you. After beating the game there's an "Another Day" mode, but I haven't bothered much to finish the whole thing afterwards.
- FFTA2 has freaking judges and their laws again, and the pre-battle is clunky, the battle feels a little clunkier than before, and I'm still playing it. I miss the old FFT though.
- Boom Dizzle to Clippers (verbally). I'll just leave it at that cause whatever I said seems to jinx our chances.
- KOF 98UM OST has so many songs in there, but I have no idea which is which for the second disc. There's some classics obviously, but I don't know how to get those songs out in-game.
- Bought Diablo 2 and started playing again, online with SS (with an self-imposed online only character that can also be played offline lol). I also made a necromancer and them skeletons are fun.
- I need to sleep earlier. It feels like I only sleep for 5 hours on weekdays. Not enough obviously. |

The Pyro update, I liek.
Regarding mapping progress it has slowed down to a halt. Mostly because I have no idea how to rework the ground floor of the tower (from being a lobby only to thinking about a front lobby with a warehouse at the back).
Maybe I'll just get lazy and kill off everyone when they fall off the tower instead.

RAGING STORM

Update on mapping: At least I got another part down.
Took me 3 days to experiment around with Hammer and get it right.
Basically, in the map Geese's Raging Storm shows up about a few moments after you capped the point. I tried to do the 'cage' but it has problems showing up, and saving (lose of polygons zomg). So I thought of something else instead, basically put, it's a bunch of spikey triangles thrown together making it look like a circle with spikes.
Next up will be lighting, which is always a major problem with my mapping skill.

I think my blog's linkages are so outdated that they need a clean-up.
So here be list of updated links.
tempest in a teacup - SS' blog moved to non-LJ sphere. Ph34r his technobabble and love of the companion cube. The Gamer's Litter Box - FCL's gaming and animu/mango blog. I liek it thus far. Orochinagi Forums - I go there almost daily and I didn't have a link of it until now. Kotaku - I'm just going there for the game news but that's really it. Has more info for my casual eyes than others. Clips Nation - Currently the better Clipper blog and the one that's less visited (Clipperblog is #1). Very insightful stuff, if you're a Clippers' fan (not that there's many). And yes, it needs more linkage. |

I has one.
Bought the US version and it's quite fun, my parents totally own me at Wii Sports for no reason.
The other game is Mario Kart Wii but I haven't played it yet. Anyhow, so far I'm quite satisfied, hopefully I will get a wired connection going if possible.
Edit: Also suggest me gaems that I should buy. Since I have a US version Wii, I can only get US Wii gaems. Also, Pro Evo Soccer/Winning Eleven (may need a Freeloader for that) and Smash Bros. BAWWWWWWWWW are already in my wishlist. Something with more multiplayer elements preferred. |

The 2007-2008 L.A. Clippers Season Scorecard
|
Apr. 17th, 2008 @ 09:05 pm
|
|---|
|
The season ended on a note where I think, the LA Clippers lost 320 man games to injury (and that's an actual fact too). I doubt that any guys in the team got to play the full 82 regular season games. And with almost 40 different starting lineups thru the season, it's hard to fathom that they could reach the playoffs.
Even 30 wins is stretching it. So basically, the team's 23 wins is kind of like "yeah, it's kinda expected."
Anyway...onto the players.

But it's slowly (emphasis on slowly) getting better. So that's good. |
