- Beat Squenix's "The World Ends With You." I like the style and its decidedly different tone on the surface (even though it's still mostly grindlvlbuzting). The only real complaint is that I don't really have two pairs of eyes that will look at what's happening on the top screen AND the bottom screen simultaneously. The answer is to screw what happened in the upper screen and keep pressing the same direction, or just let the CPU do it for you.
After beating the game there's an "Another Day" mode, but I haven't bothered much to finish the whole thing afterwards.
- FFTA2 has freaking judges and their laws again, and the pre-battle is clunky, the battle feels a little clunkier than before, and I'm still playing it. I miss the old FFT though.
- Boom Dizzle to Clippers (verbally). I'll just leave it at that cause whatever I said seems to jinx our chances.
- KOF 98UM OST has so many songs in there, but I have no idea which is which for the second disc. There's some classics obviously, but I don't know how to get those songs out in-game.
- Bought Diablo 2 and started playing again, online with SS (with an self-imposed online only character that can also be played offline lol). I also made a necromancer and them skeletons are fun.
- I need to sleep earlier. It feels like I only sleep for 5 hours on weekdays. Not enough obviously. |

The Pyro update, I liek.
Regarding mapping progress it has slowed down to a halt. Mostly because I have no idea how to rework the ground floor of the tower (from being a lobby only to thinking about a front lobby with a warehouse at the back).
Maybe I'll just get lazy and kill off everyone when they fall off the tower instead.

Update on mapping: At least I got another part down.
Took me 3 days to experiment around with Hammer and get it right.
Basically, in the map Geese's Raging Storm shows up about a few moments after you capped the point. I tried to do the 'cage' but it has problems showing up, and saving (lose of polygons zomg). So I thought of something else instead, basically put, it's a bunch of spikey triangles thrown together making it look like a circle with spikes.
Next up will be lighting, which is always a major problem with my mapping skill.

I think my blog's linkages are so outdated that they need a clean-up.
So here be list of updated links.
tempest in a teacup - SS' blog moved to non-LJ sphere. Ph34r his technobabble and love of the companion cube.
The Gamer's Litter Box - FCL's gaming and animu/mango blog. I liek it thus far.
Orochinagi Forums - I go there almost daily and I didn't have a link of it until now.
Kotaku - I'm just going there for the game news but that's really it. Has more info for my casual eyes than others.
Clips Nation - Currently the better Clipper blog and the one that's less visited (Clipperblog is #1). Very insightful stuff, if you're a Clippers' fan (not that there's many). And yes, it needs more linkage. |

I has one.
Bought the US version and it's quite fun, my parents totally own me at Wii Sports for no reason.
The other game is Mario Kart Wii but I haven't played it yet. Anyhow, so far I'm quite satisfied, hopefully I will get a wired connection going if possible.
Edit: Also suggest me gaems that I should buy. Since I have a US version Wii, I can only get US Wii gaems. Also, Pro Evo Soccer/Winning Eleven (may need a Freeloader for that) and Smash Bros. BAWWWWWWWWW are already in my wishlist. Something with more multiplayer elements preferred. |

The season ended on a note where I think, the LA Clippers lost 320 man games to injury (and that's an actual fact too). I doubt that any guys in the team got to play the full 82 regular season games. And with almost 40 different starting lineups thru the season, it's hard to fathom that they could reach the playoffs.
Even 30 wins is stretching it. So basically, the team's 23 wins is kind of like "yeah, it's kinda expected."
Anyway...onto the players.

Just that aforementioned sickness/flu thingy hasn't really gone away. i still get a little uncomfortable at my throat and at times I still cough.
But it's slowly (emphasis on slowly) getting better. So that's good. |

Well at least I got something to post about.
I got sick for the second time this month, it's still flu, but this one hurts my throat more than the last one. That's not good. Also the coughing is kinda bad at times, if I kept coughing for a while it's as if my stomach gets overturned or something.
Gotta get some rest. Hope there's not a third one coming up in April. |

Actually, I got myself a TF2 server. If you're interested you can feel free to drop by, just note that the server is located in HK, and the locals usually don't speak English.
The server IP addy is 203.169.165.60:27015, but anyone over 300 ping will get autokicked after a minute.
Current maps are stock + some custom maps. One of the clans in HK will also be using the server for practice/matches too (it'll be password-only during those times), I'm not sure how this will be running though. Stay tuned! |

That's the news - Sega made wadloads of cash before, losing money now in their arcade division.
That's not really extremely surprising, but anyway the comments below have been missing the point of said article. Most of them are like, "LOL Sega sucks their games sucks that's why they're losing money you dumbass"
I'd really wish that more people would RTFA (read the farking article) before even commenting. Hating on Sega must be a bandwagon thing.
The thing is that Sega's arcade division losing money doesn't link up to Sega making game consoles that don't sell well, games that are average and don't sell well, and games that are great and don't sell well...and maybe some games that suck and don't sell well, but the guys inexplicably link up the two things as if it's common sense.
Add that to the fact that seemingly most of them are in US and Europe, never been to an arcade (or a really crappy one that used to be run-down and dimly lit) and tried any of those games out, further enforces their viewpoint that it's Sega's fault.
Talking to them is useless, it's so far drilled into their heads you can't take that POV out anymore.
At least it's good to know that there's a bunch of guys who are stupid, self-centered and don't have common sense. That kinda makes me feel superior, at least I have common sense. |

Shaq to the Suns WTF

There's "serious talks" about getting Shaq traded to the Phoenix Suns for Shawn Marion plus Marcus Banks.
This makes no sense, but it seems like it's about to happen. At least, Yahoo! reported that Shaq's pending a physical to get to Phoenix.
I'm really not too sure about what or why Phoenix would like to do that. It doesn't do anything, Shaq is way over the hill and doesn't fit well with Steve Nash and the Suns' offense.
The next day or two, if this pans out, will be interesting. |

I stopped watching the D. Grey Man manga. I've been following the weekly chapters but lately it's a mess, and to be honest I have no freaking idea what's going on in there.
On a separate note, I got myself an iPod nano (the flat fat one). It's pretty awesome, but I think I might lose it anytime soon. |
