She sounds like a *wonderful* person to be friends with. And, she's lucky she has a friend like *you* :)
Lots of good stuff, but this has to be one of the best
She climbs trees.
Oh yes. Climbing trees, one of life's simple but outstandingly pleasurable things.
Teddy
Hear, hear!
That's a wonderful tree she's in in the picture.
I think it's been about two-three years since I last climbed a tree. I think I should make a date with that lovely big tree in front of Somerford.
I once got told off by apolice-woman in Kew Gardens for climbing a tree. It was a lovely tree - too good not to climb, and Linnea and I were sitting there in the high branches, enjoying the unseasonally hot and sunny weather (this being February in England) and happily being Librarians-in-a-tree, when the police woman spotted us, yelled at us to come down and told us off for daring to enjoy the tree in the way nature *obviously* intended it to be enjoyed.
We were to surprised to think of it in time, but I should have just let Linnea be all Swedish and "I don't understand English very well" at the policewoman. Teddy
The British police must love you, Teddy, what with your tree-climbing and bike-reading. :-D
Not my fault!!!
I'm a Victim of Circumstance. Honest, I am!
It's not *my* fault that authors and publishers put good books out there that have to be read and nature puts great climbing trees where I'm likely to find see them.... is it?
Teddy
You poor persecuted thing, you. You are coping SO bravely, my dear Teddy.
{smiles in a brave and stoic way}
Teddy
