These lil creatures just keep on coming...i hope i can get them all out!..they're cute tho..i have a couple more similar to this in my head atm that i gotta put out there,just so they can exist, i think thats all they want.
It was quite fitting that a friend of mine called me up today while i was doing this image to invite me to the documentary screening of a multi-media performance by Alex Grey (an amazing spiritual artist)..It was called world prayer i think..cant remember.
He uses lots of eyes and pyramids..its very socio-spiritual..but to the extreme!
Reminded me of my old Psy-Trance days..And a few of that oldskool crew were there also..
It was nice.Here is a quick lil preview of what he does and who he is.He really is quite amazing

'Ching Chong Song'/or/'Church Of Lurch'..they had some complaints about their band title so they changed it to 'Church Of Lurch'..but seem to have gone back to the original..

I have had such good responses to my lalala landers i have decided to do more..i have a few in my head already..but i have had an ability to see faces in places since i was young..like walls,tree trunks..anything. I discovered recently that Dali and picasso did also..i thought that was cool..My bf showed me this website not long ago which i also thought was cool. I should submit some.

I've decided to do a little village called lalala land for all those 'pokemon'-type thoughts in my head..i think they will all live happily there..should be done by tomorrow..
Theyr'e a bit cute..like this guy 'cavatea'
I also have a collection of images that were left over from a psychedelic childrens adventure story i was working on for a band's japanese album launch.It was an amazing story. Unfortunately they went through some band member changes which threw off the whole plot..so now i have a bunch of characters that are all musical. I am thinking of calling them "The Musi-cools" but i think maybe that might be a bit daggy..not sure yet |

This is my niece and I..I always get them to dress up and take pictures when i go to the country and see them.
I really wanted to keep that dress she is wearing but it didn't fit! so i thought it was perfect for her.I decided to make my own cherry shirt which i am wearing below.
So here is me lovingly forcing my creative aesthetic onto my niece

I couldn't post for the last two weeks because of my slow internet..
I had an icecream fetish..I realised this was because i missed the icecream truck that goes by every wednesday..I never eat it..i just like the melody coming from the truck because it is distorted, slow and broken sounding..a real rare pleasure on the soundwaves or the streets. It reminded me of when i lived on "Candy Street" sevral years ago..true!
There was an amazing icecream truck there..it was arabic sounding, and also broken and slow..it always blew my mind! I was thinking about it, wondering if it had any subconscious influence on the pictures like this that i was doing at the time. This one is called 'Sugar High'
So i decided to do something that i wouldn't get attached to at sketch city this time. something cute but not so 'out standing'- from my old neverending catalog of doodles, because you have to leave your work behind.There are heaps of icecream images going around at the moment and i was hoping i could just lose this in the sea. But i did get attached cos it turned out hearshaped! it was suppose to have 3 heads but the board wasn't big enough.
I might go to their website and see when the next auction is..
this is also an old picture that started out being called "i scream scoop" but then i made another image out of that title..

Up and going finally!
Here is one of my images called 'Strange things grow in dark places' It's the kinda 'goth lolita' one i suppose you could say. Most of them are titled by the poems beneath them.
I'd like to get some close ups and post them as there is quite a bit of detail in some of my images.. especially this one..
The concept behind this 'series' called "The Internal Tapestry" Is that all the characters are their environment.. which is reflective in the fabric they're wearing and also the poetry or title given,each image has it's own theme.
The shop should be up in a week or two..by which time i will have a few more images to put up.
so.. go on a little adventure and check it out!

I did a new picture called "It's all good"..flipped it around so you could also see the white madonna. I am going to try to squeeze it onto the website which i will be working on this weekend. No more being persuaded into getting drunk and smoking cigarettes by my flatmates..who are the most adorable devils in disguise.I've been drunk everyday this week! It's been a big blurry hangover..
