I am writing. In fact, I wrote four pages today. The problem is that I'm not finishing what I'm starting, or I dislike it, or I'm too busy to go back and fix what I want to fix or add on or fill it out.

So I have two new projects. One has nothing to do with gay people (and the person I am collaborating on this with finds it funny that we have no gay guys. "Danger, danger, Will Robinson, there are no GAY PEOPLE.") but I adore it to pieces. The idea of it, that is. I've actually written very little for it since I can't decide HOW I wanted to tell the story and portray the characters. It's humor. We're going to turn it into a comic one day (it's so comic worthy, I swear) and we talk about the main character, Catsu (who is a GIRL) almost non-stop. So let's talk a little about it...

Main idea: Two aliens crash on Earth and are sort of 'adopted' by a young college student when he comes across them in the woods. They look to be anywhere from 9 to 12. The two aliens then recruit most of the people on the guy's floor (the majority of the people are young and don't have much money and the rent is REALLY cheap because the building's fucked up) to help them find their Captain, whom they believe to be Godzilla. Or at least Catsu believes it's Godzilla and Heiao just sort of goes with it. )

Enough of THAT.

The other idea. I'm just writing about a boy as he grows ears and a tail and, well, pretty much becomes a cat boy. I notice a lot of people like cat boys or cat girls, and I just wanted to write about the nonchalant way a boy undergoes the transformation and deals with it. The feedback I've gotten so far points to it being pretty cute (in a calm, almost dry way).

Basic characters:

Denver: Catboy. Hard time concentrating, lives in his own head and is somewhat slow to react. Low self esteem and thinks he's stupid (no, he does not angst).
Kacey: His smart friend/coworker (who's weird enough to be completely not weirded out by the ears and tail and stuff. I like Kacey).

Neither projects have names.
