As most of you know, I've been in a relationship with a 54-year old man for almost two years now. On a personal note, I've never been happier. The reaction from friends and family alike (and on both sides) was very supportive and just wonderful, but I can't help but write on something that concerns me when I read about "May-December" relationships or hear them mentioned on a mainstream-level.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let everyone who doesn't already know about this in on it. Namely, I've recently signed up for an online game-trading site, Goozex, and I wanted to recommend it. If you're a gamer or even if you have old games from ANY CONSOLE (including PC) you can trade peer-to-multipeer for any games you want. Delivery is really easy, there's tons on there to choose from, and the best part is that for each transaction, all you pay is $1.00. Now, I've done some game trading in the past and let me tell you, aside from private message boards used for the same, anything of this mass is always more expensive. Goozex is the cheapest, easiest I've found.
Since I really want to give you guys a detailed report for those interested, supported consoles are as follows: PS/PS2/PS3, X-Box/360, PC, Mac, Gamecube, PSP, Dreamcast, Wii, Nintendo DS, and Gameboy Advance. Each has tons of games for every genre and the trade system works on a points basis. Basically, each game is worth a specific number of points and you, if you choose to trade yours in return, earn said points toward another game every time you send out yours. Gah, this is easier than I make it sound XD I suck.

Rejoice, I finally got a working plot outline for the next Marr chapter, as well as various other working ideas. Liz, Chris, and Fury will also be introduced into this chapter, though Fury will have a minimal role. Vincent will go on to make yet another appearance. I happy now ^^ And I even worked out a backstory as to why Molly is chosen. Shweeeet :P

OMG, Cudos to Andrew for sending me this link (I must have read it five times over and am still laughing) Greatest Exam Ever. ROTFLMAO.
So onto other news, Marr will (hopefully) be updated soon. While the FTP and manual updating on Keenspace are down, I've been working on the pages and some artwork. Re-worked the character pages to contain individual sections for each character (so I can go a bit more in-depth on each one without taking up oodles of space on a single page), and made full-size pics of them for said pages as reference.
...here's hoping Keenspace gets a moving and is running again soon. |

On other news, I gots me an interview...yesterday :P Went to it, horrible ride up. WE WERE DOING 30 ON A HIGHWAY!!!! On a non-crowded highway! Man, that snowstorm sucked horribly. But got there, had the interview (administrative position), and am now awaiting to hear the result. In the meantime, I get to have fun at my part-time job *insert sad snirk here*

So first (and only!) "official" training day at my new job....not bad. Kinda fun, in a sad sort of way. Punching buttons is amusing, even after four hours of doing so...I suspect the excitement will subside eventually, hooray. Anything beats Gemma, that's all I can say.
Some minor Marr news...will be updated tonight, with a new panel, and my first brand-spanking piece of artwork, by yours truly (go me) with Molly and Morphius (jesus, somebody suggest a different name, that whole Matrix-innuendo is pissing me off now, damn you for pointing it out). I need to think about the plot more too...
Boondock Saints is almost done downloading...*glomps Smecker* Even dressed as a whore, he rocks!

Bah, job-hunting away, goddamn. Got a part-time for now, but it sucks. I need something different, NOW. LOL. Stupid gas station with its stupid manager. Bitch. *sigh* Ah well, anything's better then Gemma co. *shudders*
I want to buy the original Pavilion of Women book. ;_; But alas, I cannot. Must resist spending money on stuff right now, and save up for school, which starts in *skim skim* January! Next January, hurray. I can't wait. Also going to the hair salon sometime in the next month and getting a whole new doo :P The Heather-doo, as I would like to call it. Minus the same colours, but the same style. A select of you know what I'm talking about *winks at DC* It's so nice...*sigh*

Through recent news through other webcomic artists, I found out that a reader was recently involved in a huge house fire that destroyed virtually all of her family's possessions, and they pretty much escaped the fire with only the clothes on their backs. At the moment, they have nothing left, and there is a request for anyone who can spare anything at all (clothes, toys, books, anything really) to ship it to them. I myself don't have much to spare right now, but I do know the daughter is a sci-fi/fantasy reader, so I will be sending along some of my own books and any clothes I can come by. The family really has nothing at all left at this point, so anything is good. For anyone else interested, please check it out here! |

Yeah, so today was nice. Went out and rented Pavilion of Women starring Willem Dafoe. Nice movie, very nice. Been a while since I cried to a movie, and I cried :P Heh.
Also had the gut-splitting experience of seeing Jeffrey Combs on Enterprise (taking into note I actually hate the show, and was channel-surfing when he suddenly caught my eye) So he plays this...thing o_O Some....blue-skinned antenna-alien thing XD LMAO. It was funny. Yes it was, indeed. Watching it also brought on Quantum Leap nostalgia. I do miss watching that show :( *sigh* Al rocked.
Oh, and everyone should download Poison, by Groove Coverage (same peeps that made Moonlight Shadow). I can't stop listening to that damn song XD Damn techno tracks, damn their hypnotic-like thrall.... |

Been depressed lately. I want my own place *sob* I can't wait to start school, and then get my own place to live, because this is just driving me totally crazy. I miss my furry little baby :*( I want my Beagle *cries*
Oh well, at least there's been an up-side to everything, and that's that I've been spitting out more Marr panels then I can count. For a week now, I've had one out EVERY DAMN DAY o_O I guess I work best at night, usually go to bed, pop in Necronomicon, Book of the Dead for the 10000000th time, and get to drawing. Listening to Lovecraft verses just makes it so damn nice. *g*

So today's first "training" day sucked XD Surprise surprise, the stupid manager (who was late 40 minutes for my interview) was no show on training day, and I was stuck there for an hour with her increadibly annoying sister before the manager decided to call and say she wouldn't be coming in because she wasn't feeling well, and that I should go home....well, thank's for making me wait an hour and having me do nothing. Dumbass. So I went home, and applied for a bunch more jobs...

So I've decided to go ahead and try using a different variety of mediums and color styles when coloring in Marr. The constant CG is slowly driving me crazy, so I think I'm going to make the next two or so panels in shaded pencil, then maybe work on some black and white ink colouring, and maybe marker or something later on. I'm just getting tired of constantly doing it in CG, and it hasn't been turning out right for me lately, I dunno.
