Holy Jesus.

On Facebook, there's the Pieces of Flair application, right? Well, I made a couple of "I play Quidditch for Gryffindor/Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw/Slytherin" buttons on a whim. In the past two days, 118 people have added the Gryffindor one, 41 for Slytherin, 27 for Ravenclaw, and 21 for Hufflepuff. Two days! I didn't expect them to be that popular.

ETA: Almost 2 hours later, and the count is 131 Gryffindor (LAWD), 41 Slytherin, 31 Ravenclaw, 23 Hufflepuff. Eesh. Guess if you want to geek out, Harry Potter is the way to go!

I found out today that one of my high school classmates (who got a Chanel modeling contract at fourteen) is in the Mother's Day issue of the Sephora catalog. She's the "rocknroll mom." And I'm pretty sure she's not pregnant. At least not that pregnant, if she is. XD She's one of those generally nice, very shy people. Sort of unobtrusive. She looks like Nicole Kidman in some of her photos. She also got the Most Likely to be Famous superlative. One of the girls in drama got pissed off about that back then (I got Class Clown, so I didn't care), and I said, "You do community theater. She got a Chanel modeling contract in 9th grade." Dude, seriously.

I finished my senior project in the wee hours of the afternoon yesterday. I've gotten next to no sleep and I look like death. I don't feel like a zombie anymore, though. AndandAND, I heard some news that makes me super happy. A film we shot for class two years ago didn't get processed and digitized, right? After all of our hard work, school wouldn't pay for it, which was ridiculous. Don't buy a $4,000 welcome screen instead of helping some film kids (making a pro-ASU film) with $500. My professor for that class told me that it's getting processed right now. FUCK YES. I shot some Super 8 footage for it, so it's my big thing. Of course, I will have been moved by the time it's finished. But still! Our dead film is now getting revived because the ASU people finally realized how stupid they were being.

ETA: Also, last night, I was looking at some POTC (mostly Sparrabeth) videos, and it just really annoys me that some people negate that Elizabeth/Will ever happened. OK, people. Jack and Elizabeth wouldn't have had any of their "moments" together (except for the whole "saving a life" thing), if it hadn't been for Will. Negating the existence of Will or the existence of Elizabeth and Will's childhood together just really, really bothers me. I like Sparrabeth. I like Norribeth. I like Willabeth. (It's not like my LOST Skate shipping where I absolutely can't stand Jack.) Even though I've been silently shipping J/E since the island scene in COTBP, I understand Elizabeth has to be with Will. I just... ugh. (Same rant goes for Willabeth shippers who negate the existence of Jack.)

I hate my senior project. I have a really, really important 2nd rough cut (even though it's actually the first) due in 12 hours, and I hadn't been able to bring myself to make it until today. Or rather, yesterday. It's really bothering me. I've hated it since, I don't know, Februaryish. I really, really, really hate it today. There's about 50 different things I need to do. The editing is not what really bothers me. What bothers me is finding I absolutely hate this project, never wanted to do it to begin with, despise doing documentaries and will never do another one again unless I absolutely have to, and hate trying to find everything to compile.

I need to make a logo for my project. I have a "such-and-such productions" that requires an animated lamb. I haven't made the animated lamb. *sigh* It's either that or two lazy beets in lawn chairs. Either way, it's going to take two hours to make. Ugh.

It's not the final, so I have some lee-way, but I really want it to look good, though I hate it. It's like, "what's there to do?" with some of this stuff? *sigh*

My sleep schedule is thoroughly f'ed up, my head is throbbing, Dumbledore is gay (no surprise there, actually), I forgot to run to the two Halloween stores in town besides Party City, I still have to see Across the Universe, and I believe a certain person in my life is going to be BATMAN for Halloween this year. Dude. I have a BATMAN to go with my Poison Ivy. *shifty eyes* And he wants to beat up THE JOKER. Oh, the irony.

I talked to waenweth on the phone today for 2 hours. I talk to her online every weekday while she's at work, but I haven't talked to her in AGES. She's really cut down on her valley speech, which is so funny. Jess will always be my go-to when I want to squee or complain about boys. She's one of those people who will always tell me when I'm being an ass, and we've resigned ourselves that she will always be the sobby mess who cries while watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and I will always be the silly girl who finds anything and everything to rant about. Jess also made the subject line, dealing with a certain... person. XD

Incidentally, there are two fandoms left that people have not guessed in my meme. I can't believe everyone kept answering V for Vendetta for the 300 one, as I have never expressed love for V for Vendetta. The book is pretty good, but I really didn't like the movie. And dude, that whole "tearing the piercings off Xerxes' face" thing? Literally ripping the guy a new one? Oh, yes. Also, the HP one? Boy, did I confuse y'all. Dog? Sirius? Favorite character? Heh. I thought "school balls" and "killing villains" would give it away.

Anyway, my headache hasn't gotten any better, I need a tylenol and some food, and it's about time to walk the pup, so I'll ramble more later.

ETA (7:09 AM) Mmm, it's one of those gorgeous cool October mornings. The sun is rising, the stars are still out, and there's an air of cool freshness everywhere. THAT is what October is supposed to feel like. Not the 80-degree weather we've been having.

I need this tshirt ASAP. Someone, buy it for me as a belated birthday present! I needs the precious. We're talking, "It's right up there with A Dark Night and Lost a Wheel in Threadless awesomeness."
