2:50 pm	ZINE COMPLETED, PRINTED + IN THE SHOPS.... GO GET IT!!! Ok, so after god knows how many years of wanting to put a zine together.. I have finally put together, printed off and taken it off to the shops. The zine 'it's all fun and games unless nobody gets hurt' features interviews with Camel from Wot Rot and the lads from folk punk band Gentleman's Riot.. as well as Rebels and Rascals, a review of Eight Miles High, a new independent record shop, a funky drink recipe and tank girl drinking game. 6:55 pm	I feel like it's happening all over again.... A friend told me that the message that I recieved back from my stolen mobile seemed like a rape threat... now I feel like I'm getting sucked back into my past and it's all happening all over again... who knows if he's right? To be honest, unless it was just a bit of tomfoolery I suspect two people... one of which is a HUGE worry if it were to be him, but I don't wanna believe that... and he's said he doesn't know anything about it... the other, he can be dealt with.. So much dodgy shit is going on around DV8 these days, it's fucked up! I need to stay in control of my reality, in control of my paranoia.. I may not have my jacket, but I still have my blade.. I shall enter this battle as fearless as possible, as it really is the best position that I can possibly put myself in... anything else is going to make me disintegrate into a huge mess just like I used to be. Of course, this is me we're talking about here and anything needs to be completely bloody blunt if i'm gonna get it at all, so .... despite what my mate said, it doesn't quite seem like a rape threat to me... but who fucken knows. 9:25 pm	i need to convince myself to start writing again.. started a new lj the other day, yet to post in it.. why did i start it? privacy mainly, privacy and a fresh start.. i don't really like people who haven't known me for years having access to my incriminating stories from years ago, although i seriously doubt that anyone would bother to read back that far.. before i met blue dinosaur i was doing a pretty good job of keeping this journal updated, i think.. but once you're writing about someone who's reading or things that impact on them then censoring comes in.. it's only natural, right? So I stop writing.. not too much point really, is there? But I'm moving. But I'm exploring. But I'm becoming. And unbecoming. Evolution needs to be recorded. I wake up in the gutter, one afternoon, my head screaming at me for the copious amounts of whatever that I've consumed, "How did I get here?" My feet are directed by addiction... I am compelled to follow.. head aching, completely lost in some silly temporary? void.. My eyes hook into the lights, my fingers their respective buttons.. I complete another circuit.. Before a computer, before livejournal, the gaps fill themselves in... this is where i was yesterday... a week ago... a month ago... a year ago... a decade ago... so that's who I am... Or is it? I stumble on. But then... even years ago, when I first started going out with Ryan/Zalfir/Angus's dad, I turned everything into cryptic mumbojumbo in my journal.. I wonder why I haven't managed that this time... too much effort? not enough time? Cryptic mumbojumbo has awesome potential, but now I'm rambling. 10:58 pm	HOUSEHUNTING NEWS!!!! I signed a lease for a house in West Footscray today :) It's a two bedroom house with loungeroom, dining room, kitchen (with two ovens, one's wood), maid's quarters(?), bathroom, outhouse, shed, frontyard, half finished verandah, sandpit, backyard and a clothesline to spin around and around and around on.... Weeeeeee!!! all for $220! Which is what they were trying to charge me to continue to rent this shitty little two bedroom box... I love this new place, so awesome... so nice! I love it... MINE! a pity, it's only a 6 month lease. Housewarming party soon guys! and now that I've got the space, lots of movie marathons and house parties coming up!!! :) (3 Comments |Comment on this)

2:39 pm	Working Bee For Pirate Day - THIS WEEKEND Ok.. this weekend at my place in Thornbury, we will be having the pirate day working bee making decorations, pirate artworks and probably just messing around and acting like pirates as some sort of rehearsal.. I do have a fair few pirate films so it's entirely possible that it could also include a pirate movie marathon :) just to increase the mood and marauding, y'know.. 5:39 pm	I just got GIVEN a job didn't apply for it or anything.. it's only casual... but I'm now going to be working in a record store... HOW FUCKING SWEET IS THAT?!?! Fuck YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! only being paid in CDs atm, but once the shop takes off I'll be paid in cash.. SWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!!! Just did an hour's work and managed to make a fuck up but it's alright.. it worked out in the end :) and he was nice enough about it.. but it'll end up a running joke, no doubt :( gave a girl 2 avril CDs instead of 1... (I secretly just didn't want them in the shop) but she came back in and we got the CD back and everything was sweet :) plus, he only gave me a 5 minute run through of how everything worked so it wasn't as though I was trained or anything.. but yeah... 11:51 pm	NEW TOY ALERT! My modem/router came today after much fumbling around on computer i realised problem was in cabling, fixed it. Now.. I am online. Woo! VOIP account successfully registered, need new phone. Got a new 9 megapixel camera today for $148 ... FTW!!! Contemplating buying a scanner/printer/photocopier.. I could really do with one.. I would really, really, really like to have one... but where to put it in my cramped little unit... Need to move.. need a bath... need room to put all of my shiney new treasures! MMMMMM... TOYS!
