I had a great Beltane weekend! The forecast kept most people away and so there was a core group of die-hards there. It's nice to introduce newbies to the Craft, but there is definitely something to be said for sitting around with people who actually live the Pagan life on a daily basis. It's nice to all be in the same place. We got lots and lots of chanting done this weekend which I love and always lifts my spirits. It's still weird to go to festivals and hear people singing songs that I've written and they didn't even know I'm the author. I also got to drum, something I haven't gotten to do much of since moving to the apartment.

As we were sitting around singing rounds of 'We All Come From the Goddess' we must have been hitting the 'like a drop of rain flowing to the ocean' too hard because they sky opened up and poured for a while. Once we were tired of the rain, we all broke out into 'Oh Tell Me Why' and called the sun back giving us lovely weather the rest of the day. One of the very cool workshops we attended was on healing through tones rocks and crystals. It seemed very new-agey but as soon as I heard the singing bowls start I was hooked. I'd never been around so many of them before and they really do just go straight into you. Teh Girlfriend was dying from teh girly pains and it not only cured her of them, but she was without pain the rest of the 'time'. Nice.

Got to see old friends, make incredible new ones, and now there is even more people wanting me to give a Reiki class. Woot on teh good weekend.
