We have been working over time the past month; he on "The Price of Tea" (the comic book) and D*Con art show paintings and me on the details of the business and trip. We certainly haven't been pushing to add more to our plate. However, that whorl-wind is not slowing and with D*Con more then 100 days away we're ready for more. Very soon I hope to send out e-mail updates about the website and our first set of postcards. To be a part of all this just cruse to our website ( www.nydwyngreendragon.com ) and sign up for the mailing list.
Some news on the comic front. We have decided that the first printing of "The Price of Tea" will be in a very limited edition (only 100) 26 page book. They will be unveiled at DragonCon along with two promotional mini-posters. We will have to wait a little longer for the sample inking, but CJ has completed the first full color painting related to "The Price of Tea." What makes this even more awesome is that it is also the first look the public has to the main character and a hint at the story line. And for your pleasure I present the painting:
This is a huge painting: 20" x 28" and it will be advailable to see and purchace framed in the DragonCon art show.
I love to see art born.... Hear from you all soon!

Here you go!
As some of our fans know we have been slowly allowing the tightly gaurded details of our comic book to be exposed leading up to the unveiling at DragonCon.
However, we have a wonderful problem that you can help us with. The first book will be at the printers in July but our problem is that we're not sure what would be better; a single limited edition (100 count) 46 pg comic, a unlimited print 26 page trade paperback, or a combination? I've posted the poll on the "dragoncon" Journal Page so if you want your say in the matter I would love to hear about it. Hopefully we'll have an answer soon and if I'm really nice to CJ he might let me put an inked page up on my personal journal as a preview for everyone. As a reward for helping us here is a clue just for DragonCon Journal Readers and Friends. If you love traditional Japanese history, you'll love "The Price of Tea."
