i spent some time last week in Texas listening to his jams blast throughout the store....pretty strange.

It's hard to belive that two years ago today one of the greatest guitar players of the past two decades was shot and killed on stage.
my thoughts will be with his wife, Rita, his brother, Vinnie, and everyone else who knew this amazing man.

2 weeks ago i found out that a friend of mine from high school had died from an overdose. we used to go to concerts together, talk about the latest cool metal cds out, smoke cigs, drink beer, etc...the things idiot metal heads do in high school. he was also the manager of a band i was in for 4 years, Planet Psycho. we had some good times...tonight a bunch of us are getting together [the old school clan if you must] to pay tribute to him. i gathered up a couple of photo albums to take and share some good memories....i have on a t-shirt i think he would have really liked [we were both into horror movies] so...i will wear it for him. i hope this isn't some sad-fest...we need to remember the good times....because there were more of those than bad.
