I was planing on driving back down to LA today, but as Glenn dropped me off at my folks place my dad told me my mom woke up not feeling well.
I decided to stay in bay area 1 more day in order to be around in case my mom needs anything.

is that not a great excusereason?

These photos where taken in San Fransisco at a VERY windy Surto Baths and a very very VERY windy hill peek over the mission district i think.. bryant hill? or something? Both Glenn and I lost our hats, they flew off our heads!! luckily they landed in a very accessible area and a very niee dog was barking at them showing us where they where!

DANM IT.. i want to go.. i want to go badly.. I've never been to an out of state convention.. and with all the AWESOME MUSIC guests, and steampunk presence.. i want to go to Drangon*Con more then I've wanted to go to a convention in a very long time...

plane ticket, hotel, admission, food... and I don't have a job lined up for after my northern CA adventures.. not to mention for whatever job I will get, going yeah... let me work for you, but I'm gonan take this weekend off...

i said it was coming, so here it is.. my big/fat/public FRIEND ME!!! post about AX and all the joy :D

1'st I feel i need to start off the night before, at thatcalliecat's birthday party at the Edison. It was Fun-tastic! 1'st time I ever got into a car with a guy i didn't know before introducing each other in car... THANKS CALLIE FOR HOOKING ME UP WITH CARPOOL. i met some pretty well known Cosplayers that night, which is soooo oddd... 'cause like, at one point I was a really silly cosplay fangirl and knew who most of these people where if only by screen name) I dressed steampunk, and ran into others Fresh from AX (later in night) they took pictures, sadly I'm not really forward enough to get into photos... i need to work on that.
but here is ma'outfit from Friday night!




I like my outfit, and hate my head/face. but that's okay, because .. well.. it has to be.

So Saturday, my big AX day. it started with me arrving and getting $7 parking. I liked that, bad point, creepy parking lot guy who was trying to hit on me while I put on my corset and hoop skirt.... remind me to never try to put on corset and hoop skirt in parking lot again...
I got to convention, got my badge and Texted a bunch of people to find out if I had friends there yet. kochoumacabre responded and her with Mary and.. um... other cool chick in pink AP dress found me. we went on search for Ice cream, when that failed they waited for me while I got LONGEST LINE EVER starbucks.
( though i did meet a steampunk enthusiast who thought my outfit was cat's meow )
we then tried to find mythical last min lolita meet up. we kept gathering more lolis, but just ended up taking some photos by the Archde

So, after we hung around around a bit, i had met some cool new humans and all.. but I wanted to go to Dealers hall, so i excused myself and did just that.
( Where My eyes met with a steamy vampire guy.. and I needed photos... )

Once in Dealers hall I STOPPED MYSELF FROM BUYING ANYTHING!! no really!!!! i picked up a necklace I had already paid for from Clothing-Drop.. but besides that.. not even an AP hair accessory. I was pretty proud of myself. I meet up with sekiria who basicly my Con buddy for rest of day. we did the Kera Snap photo thing, met up with glob of loli's again. I SAW JENNY!!!! look proof!!!!

Lets see.. what next, Nichole and I hung out more, we exited dealers hall for food, met up with Michelle and Rashelle, 2 very cool chicks we hung out with LAST YEAR at AX.. yet I know no way to get a hold of them outside of running into them at Cons.

So ends ma'pictures. I met a lot of lovely girls, collected a bunch of business cards, and got more priase for my steampunk Outfit then I ever expected. I am not sure if anybody else knows this.. but apparently i was born to wear steampunk.. it's outta ma'hands.. I MUST GET/MAKE/CREATE/BUY/STEAL/ALTER/THIFT MORE!!!

i did it!!! I created a new Livejournal for me to write, brainstorm and document the story of Elizabeth Von Copperbottom.

all that's posted is the very beginning of the story. I have about 1 more page of handwritten notes for the next part, but I got a bit embarrassed and decided to attack that later.

I welcome anybody who's interested in adding it as a friend. I would love feedback and CC. I am NOT a writer at all, but I am a storyteller and that's what I'm doing. I've used a handful of friends as basic starts for characters (mostly so that at some point we can all dress up and be dorks in photos) but by no means are any of the characters my real friends. ummm... so yeah. here I go! I need to deep on top of this shit, AND SO DOES deathcrossdress for we entered a pack to start our writing blogs and i did mine :P

I just heard on Radio today that NIN is touring and will be in LA in Sept.

I've never seen Trent perform but have heard nothing but good.

I think i'm going to try and get a ticket. I just regg'ed on the NIN website to be eleagable for presale tickets.

this is the 48 hour movie I did all last weekend. this version was uploaded by the Producer, and it's not the exact version we submitted. I went back and fixed/cleaned/tweeked things a lil'bit on Tuesday night.. because well.. everybody would rather have a nice/clean copy for their own personal use!

this upcoming weekend (June 13-15'th) My friends and I are participating in the 48 hour film project. this is a totally random project, Friday night The director and the writers will get the genre, one character we have to include, one prop, and one line of dialogue. We will then be shooting on Saturday Day, and Saturday evening. Then I will be editing it on Saturday night and Sunday morning/day. the final project must be handed in totally done by 7pm on sunday evening. it will be sown Thursday the 19th at 8:00.

we are looking for people to help behind the camera for sure, and maybe some in front of camera (though we need to know what our script is before we are 100% sure of whats going on)

I am also looking for possibility of music to be used, that we can get the rights for.
