I've completed the first six illustrations - A-F - for The Gory Spoilery Alphabetic Guide to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. ^.^ The poem and the pics are loosely in the style of Edward Gorey's art and his wonderful, macabre story, "The Gashlycrumb Tinies." This is a WIP to be posted in sets of four after this.

Please note the word "Spoilery" in the title! This contains major spoilers for HBP!

Not only is this clever and well thought out and well drawn, but it is *so* very in the style of Gorey.

Oh dear lord. That is the greatest thing I've ever seen. Is it bad that F maybe kinda sorta made me laugh? It's just because you said she looks better than Bill... That's okay, right? I'm not a bad person! I swear! Anyway, I can't wait to see the whole thing! And yay for Checkmate!!!!!!

The Gashlycrumb Tinies are an old favorite, as is Gorey in general, and I am just in awe of both your wonderful art and the macabre-yet-witty poem. Fleur is indeed better looking than Bill :DDD

OMG! This is fabulous! I am bookmarking this! I have to show my office buddies, let them know that there is more to fandom than shippers! There's pure blatant wonderful thought out talent too!

(ok, I already knew that, but it's tough to come up with examples that they can 'get' sometimes) :)

Amazing. Brilliant. Perfect. Stunning! My personal favourites are C and D. C, because of its simplicity, and D because the composition is lovely, and I love the placement of the hands. Looking forward to more.

This is beautiful. I'd have to say A, B, and D are my favorites. Your rhymes are creative and fantastic, the the art is beautiful. My mouth was hanging open. I might have drooled.
