The "Little celebration in the Big Garden" is a festival in Hannover, where lots of artists get to perform small things scattered in the big garden at Herrenhausen for the whole evening, and one can go around and look at whatever one chooses to. There are also those who walk around in interesting costumes and... are interesting ;D The festival is held at several evenings a week throughout the summer.
Despite it not really being so that the visitors usually dress up, the Bri and I have done it every time, gotten a thumbs up from the manager of the whole thing once a few years ago and the other times he noticed us too and seemed to approve :D I wonder why other visitors don't pick up the habit...
Every year I want to just take a bunch of my friends and drag them there, but it has never worked out so far. One day it will!

So yeah... we're in Germany. We're going to be busy, since we are going to go to Berlin (tomorrow), to Köln (next Thursday and Friday), might be taken along to Hamburg (at some point), going to the Kleines Fest im Großen Garten (sometime next week), to a little zoo-like thing near here, to Hildesheim, Hameln (all at some point) and want to go clubbing, too.
The camera will be taken along...

After I had finished the dinosaur for rattenmaus, I wanted to start on pussinboots' and maybe even get it done before we left for Germany. Then when the glass eyes I had ordered came I realised they were way too small. So now I am probably going to take all the material with me, then I can also just buy some suitable eyes there.
The Bri and I are going to meet several people we haven't met in real before, and that promises to be fun. Also we have plans to go to three different clubs in Hannover (two of them new, probably they started to fill the empty space left by The Base).
My computer has started to shut itself down regularly, without asking, and seemingly without reason :/
I have this stupid thing were I start a mail conversation on a community with someone. And then I forget to reply for several days... and then I don't dare to log in for ages... and then months have gone, and I am sure the person I was talking to hates me. What's wrong with me?
However, I am seriously planning to reply to the comments to the petrol-entry, since there were a lot of thingssaid that I thought were interesting. I just have almost no time at all right now, with preparing the trip and doing various last minute things before leaving.

The bleach was too weak for my previously unbleached bits of hair (didn't have any 12% peroxide left), so the roots are a lot darker. But I like it anyways.
And rattenmaus will get this when I'm in Germany in July...

An amazing coat, an old book and a matchbox.

I fiddled a bit with the colour balance in these, but I still couldn't get the colour to look like it does in real... it's a lot less blue.
Apart from taking pictures (and having them taken), I have spent my time hairdyeing (obviously, but not only Sarel, but also Bri and Magnus have gotten new haircolours), painting t-shirts, sewing dinosaurs and working a bit at the store. And obsessively checking what has happened (or so far, not happened) to my uni applications.
I need new icons. All the ones I have now are old.
Also the Bri and I are going to Germany in about two weeks... Aaaahhhhh, I need to talk to people about meeting *flails*

I called the university today, and it seems my social blablablah-points have gotten through, and I won't have to panic over my applications for next autumn getting rejected, so... yay!
And that means I actually, seriously, after one and a half years, am done with my preparation courses!!
There were a few amusing things that happened during the courses...
Like Chipal's confusion about where I was from: When, after one whole term (!) she found out I was from Germany, she was very surprised and said I didn't look German, and pointed out my painted-on face dots. She never actually said anything about what she thought they meant, but I am amused by the thought that for the whole term she may have assumed that I was from some small island kingdom, and the dots next to my eyebrows meant that I had gained the right to be seen as an adult because of killing my first giant armadillo with my bare hands and teeth.
Or handing in paper after paper with completely bizarre sentences, because I got tired of writing sane ones with the lists of words-to-use we were given every week (I should post some of them here eventually ;) ). And the self-chosen essay topics, of course.
