| Spring Break!! |
[Apr. 5th, 2004|10:22 am] |
No school for a week! Yes!! I love my school and everything, but I think this is a well deserved break. Later on, I'm heading up to N. Carolina, then to Washington DC. In N Carolina, we are meeting up with my dad's old high school/college buddy. Urg. Those meetings are always so akward, I'm planning on bringing a book to read. By the way- I FINALLY got to go to Barnes and Noble yesterday- I bought like six books. Luckily, I had about $50 in gift cards from forever ago. I only ended up paying like $13 bucks total. So, now I've got plenty to read in the car. Thank gosh I can read in a car without getting sick, like one of my brothers. If I couldn't read, I'd be bored to tears. My dad says it's going to be about 6 hours to get to N.Carolina, and another 4 to get to DC. I've been randomly searching the internet forever, I'm getting so bored because I promised myself I wouldn't start reading my books until we were on the highway. lalala.. |

| Random Book Blab |
[Mar. 28th, 2004|06:22 pm] |
Hey everybody! Sorry about not updating for a while. I've given up -gasp- AIM and the internet for Lent, and I am counting down the days til Easter! (14 days!) I don't know if anyone's read Tom Sawyer, but I am currently struggling through writing a "deep" and "thought provoking" essay about the book. Never the less, I have an AR test on "The Voyages of Dr. Doolittle" on Thursday. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem. Bad news is that I left it in the cafeteria (where we all wait before we go to homeroom), and it's disappeared. I swear! I checked everywhere except the nasty, disgusting lost and found. I'm going to try and go there tomorrow, hopefully it will be there. It's a really cute book, and I was about two pages away from finishing it. While I'm rambling on about books, I got the new Princess Diaries book by Meg Cabot. I've been waiting forever! I gobbled it down in a day, it's A W E S O M E. I HIGHLY reccomm end it to any teenaged girl looking for a fun book.
Love ya'll! Thanks for reading! |

| First time posting, Sunday morning blues |

Today is Sunday, and I'm bored. It may seem like that's kind of a random thing, but I seriously believe that Sunday-Morning boredness is officially linked to something medical. Yeah, well.. I've got about 15 mins. until I get to go to CCD, which is always fun. I like my class a lot, except for the weird discussions we get into sometimes. Those can either be funny, or completely off topic. |
