Last night, we were highly considering taking the repositioning cruise, which would take us from here to Spain. I'd been wanting to go to Spain anyway, and DLP is not that far off. The cruise was very reasonably priced! We even started pricing flights to France and back home, etc. But, for some reason, I thought this was happening in the summer. Of course it wouldn't be, that's peak travel season, silly me. So. I can't take Devon out of school for a month. Otherwise, we'd totally be doing it! Sigh.

I will get to DLP... it just might take a few years.

even though this post doesn't refer to an insect at all. I refer to anything with more than 4 legs as a "bug" because I'm into generalizing like that. :P

So anyway, I finally found my first live scorpion in the house. The other two were dead. This one was hanging out on the wall above Tyler's bed. You know, exactly where I want to find a scorpion. At least he wasn't IN the bed, I would have never found him there. I'm still a little freaked out by it though. :/

This really weirds me out. I'm not really even sure why.

That is not what color I thought George Washington's hair was. Of course, I never really thought about it.

whoa.

I'm reading Steve Martin's book, Born Standing Up. I'm only a few pages in, but I just found out that he lived within a mile of me. Haha, not at the same time, of course. He lived there in the 50s, and I in the 70s-90s, but still. I had a friend who lived probably half a block from there, at most. That's...weird.

While I'm on the subject of home, I watched Superbad the other night and recognized about half the locations used in the movie. The mall they used was my local mall, Fox Hills. It's changed a lot since I was there last, but I still recognized it. I miss the crazy staircase in the middle. I can't even find a picture of it on the internet.

And J. Elvis Weinstein was a writer/producer of Freaks & Geeks? I did not know that.

Kevin doesn't want me to lose weight. He keeps making me awesome food. Like, the kind I am completely unable to control myself with. Two days ago, he made the cheese soup from Epcot! You know, the kind I spend a ton of money on every year at Food & Wine Festival. He probably made about $50 worth (in Disney portions). Yay! And since I know someone will ask, the recipe is on YouTube. And it's good. Just be careful with the pepper! We put a little much.

Now we just need to get the recipe for those spicy chicken things in Mexico, and I won't really have a reason to go to F&W.

Devon has gone six nights without wetting the bed. I was about his age when I stopped too. It's all about the pee exercises! I know you all love it when I post about pee. Tyler went in the potty again a few days ago, while I'm on the subject. But I will change it, because I don't really like talking about pee.

Devon's treat the other day (for subject mentioned in paragraph above) was frozen custard. And Monday turned out to be 99ยข kids cup/cone day. And their idea of a kids cup is enough for all three of us. Yay! She gave Tyler a baby cone, and it was the cutest thing ever. It was Barbie sized! So cute. And I had no way to take a picture. Aww.

It's weird when I pull up my daily links to find a new article by Kevin that I had no idea that he had written. He has NFFC this weekend. I'm not going because it's one of those ones that you have to pay to get into. Forget that!

We did not go to PI closing. Kids, you know. We did stop by on Friday night, though. Kevin popped in and took pictures of some of the clubs, while I took the kids to Marketplace to walk around, look at Legos, and pin trade. It was a good time. We did go to the Pocahontas show closing, though. We'd never seen it before, just the training session. But I think I posted that. Anyway, Devon pin traded on the way in, and it turned out he pin traded with the guy who got to choose the child to start the show. Soooo, Devon started the show! He told the audience the noise a snake makes, and he got to beat the drum. If we were one show later, he would have been the last one to ever do that. Still, second to last is neat!

Hooray, it's the time of year where we have nice weather! Good riddance to summer.

The last.fm application for the iphone finally works! It's really lovely. I am now using my phone's alarm to wake me up, and then I immediately turn on my radio station. Yay, niceness.

I finished Lego Indy finally. Well, I had finished all the stories a long time ago, but I got all the bonuses and extras so that I finished it to 100%. Now I'm going to start Okami. I don't really know anything about it, except that I heard it was supposed to be good. *shrug* Devon had Mercury Meltdown and it quickly bored me. He liked it, but it was too hard for him. So now he has that Donkey Kong game on the way. Hopefully I can convince him to let me send Lego Indy back! He's really into it.

I haven't started watching all the new TV shows yet. The only thing I've watched is the premiere of The Office. Aww, I'm really sad that they've already gotten rid of the fact that Holly thought Kevin was retarded. That was the funniest thing ever. "Math is hard." lol! Lots of other shows to catch up on, I don't know when I'm going to find the time for it all. We didn't even finish watching season 2 of Heroes! We suck.

Why is everything ten times funnier when everyone else is in bed, and you'd really prefer to be quiet? Note to self: Do NOT read EngrishFunny when Kevin is asleep.

I'm totally digging the orange soda tonight.

Running out of HD space again. Must stop! *shakes fist*

omg, so can I reiterate what a doofus I am? All this time I felt all left out that my old iPhone didn't have apps and everyone else's did. Turns out all I had to do was update the software. *facepalm* I guess I should sync my phone more often. Haha, so I got the Apps Store loaded up and I didn't even want anything. I was going to install AIM, but couldn't remember my itunes password. Eh. I'll look it up later.

Need to go to sleeeep! Arrrrg!

omg. Tyler just went in the potty.

So Devon's big accomplishment before he turned two was going on roller coasters, and Tyler's is peeing in the potty. Haha, they're so different. Tyler is still scared of the merry-go-round, and Devon still has the rare accident.

So proud of Baby Tyler! Haha, he keeps wanting to go back to the bathroom even though he just went. I guess he liked how much of a big deal I made out of it.

(You know you're a parent when you're happy that someone peed in a toilet)

Haha, today when I came home from dropping of Devon at school, I thought it'd be funny if Tyler had a different name. I always tell him to close the garage door, and I thought it'd be funny if I said "push the button, frank" every day. I'm a nerd.

Pogo released their version of Trivial Pursuit today. This is not good! Because I have all this free time that I can sit around playing trivia, right? Sheesh.

Oh geez. Breathe, Michelle. It's not that funny. lol

My sweetie comes home tonight! Yay!

I tried taking Devon for surprise ice cream after school today, but the Baskin-Robbins wasn't there anymore. omg, where did it go? I guess they're re-doing it to be a Dunkin' Donuts combo place. Maybe I should have taken him for frozen custard instead. :P

Wow, it's really hard to type after your baby discovers how the scrolly wheel on the mouse works. It's only a matter of time before he starts with the keyboard. Haha, he's touching the number pad, but not pushing any buttons. Yet.
