The yokodana package revisited!
Dana from yokodana picked up on my blog last week and it now features in her testimonials! (http://www.yokodana.com/testimonials.htm).

I decided that since i had a lil time this afternoon I would do a much better 'full review' of the package I recieved so here goes!

(my lil sis fay is the willing model!)

I ordered 10lbs of the bulk kimono package (synthetics) from yokodana in September, shipping was fast and communication was excellent (I needed to know about postage and had fears over customs fees). In the end there were no customs fees (phew!) and what I did get was 9 lovely kimono's and jubans!

As with ordering a bulk package for the first time (I have ordered kimono scraps before) I wasnt sure what to expect i.e would the kimono be wearable and so on- I had read the testimonials and FaQ which suggested they would be... but it was very difficult even still to guess what they would actually be like.

The haori, which has been a big hit with my sister! She's taken to wearing it in a very modern style by tying a black sash around the waist!

I love this one- its lined and muchos fun!

Pink cotton juban (thanks dana!) This has a lovely cute design on it!

The textures in the grey fabric in this kimono make it feel lovely... i think my sister may nick this one.

This one is quite large... not sure if its a mens, or just made bigger... I likey!

This is my favourite of the lot- I need to buy an obi (as you can probably tell from all these pictures, but i want it to look stunning with this kimono! It's lined and just ace!

This has a paisely(sp!) like design and I'm pretty sure is a mens.

Pretty sure this is a childs... although the material is almost like a cotton (juban?) its lined so I'm not sure.. this is the cute design..

And finally a juban made of this material

Cool pics. That white and purple kimono looks like something that'd be worn on stage, or possibly during one of the festivals =).
