Not that I'm still around or anything, but if any of youse are interested and members of fst, there's a mix by me up there, sad grey techno for Suu out of Clover. Consider it, if you like, a general-holiday-season present, from an absent... absentee. And have a lovely new year, dudes. make your own entry or read 7 other entries

A fantastic concept - the invisible library, repository of books that only exist in fiction.
It's not a fandom if there's only one of you doing it, in my book, but for the record I am currently all about the j-doramas. preferably the ones starring boybandists. ('only one of you'tte - obviously other people do this, else where would the torrents come from?, but i do not talk to them at all, i am a shameless leech with a 1+ share ratio. ...yes I am excited about finally being able to use bt, can you tell?) make your own entry or read 3 other entries

Maybe it's just me, but-- isn't episode six of initial D fourth stage fantastic? Takumi's version of the 'disappearing line' just makes me giggle like an idiot, and... suddenly so many of the things that made me love iniD in the first place, that I'd not so much been finding in fourth stage, flood back at once. awww.
dear friendlist - what are your favourite episodes in series you love and why? chap-and-verse not necessary, 'the episode where x' would no doubt do. I suppose this should be restricted to non-major-plot-points to save the spoilerphobes among us, or maybe restricted to old-skool-ish series? I might think about this a bit more and try to come up with some answers of my own. music: faye wong - sky

So, I picked up a new j-boyband magazine the other day (i really want to see the new yamaP and kame-chan - who thinks up these nicknames? - dorama! the dream combo, and a chance to see them in school uniforms! ♥, as the blurb said), and there's this double-page spread of Yuya Tegoshi, out of NEWS, hanging out in Montreal! At the overseas premiere of this film, 'dead run', in which the little muppet stars! Clearly at that Montreal film-fest petronia has been known to attend, which leads me to ask - dudes, has anyone heard of this film? Is there any likelihood of its being any cop? make your own entry or read 2 other entries

not only do I live, but I live despite my soul being devoured by the games over here; they are cute, and addictive, and interesting, and evil.
in other news, the world becomes more as it should be, with treasure-hunting robots and highly-trained attack dolphins (actually the second link is kind of sad, too).
also, petronia was just here, and she is dead cool.

hugh grant pops into the radio 4 longwave box to natter about having your teeth knocked out, and embarassing yourself in front of all of lords, and how irritating it is that tv coverage is going to sky and the good radio coverage stuck on longwave (myself, i can't even bear fivelive, which - of course! - i get far better reception for on the walkman radio).
the woman singing jerusalem over the tannoy is awful, he mentions. 'apparently that's lesley garret' '...oh, shit.'

Have been trying to think of something to say about New Orleans and just can't, beyond that I hope if any of you have relatives or friends in the area affected, live near, I hope you and yours are heard-from and okay; everything I read on it fills me with horror.

I wonder why it is we say "you ought to go" but "you should go"; what's the rule that determines whether or not you use the infinitive? 'du sollst gehen', it'd be in German, I think, infinitive construction surely? The ones that are like the german equiv, I've forgotten the name, darf and so on - should, must, might, could - don't take the inf; it's ought, need, have, want, are supposed, and so on, that do. Hum.
