Dancing with the Veil: Misirlou Flowing~Beautiful~Graceful Starts this Monday! 7:45-9:00 pm at BeBe Theatre Swirling colors, mystery, grace, and joy are all hallmarks of dancing with your veil. Short update:

I had an absolute blast. The workshop on Saturday was heavy folkloric and Momo actually took the time to explain the regional folkloric differences and walk us through the step combinations appropriate to different music. I love it when the instructor does that. The Saturday show was a ton of fun and I am looking forward to receiving the dvd. I missed a few dancers and I know the whole thing was fantastic. Sunday was all about orientale, so we did enough arabesque-ing to drive me to drink ;) but it went beautifully with the music and really felt great.
