Also, we have a calico kitten we picked up/rescued at Cafe Brazil this evening. We will be taking her to a no-kill shelter tomorrow, but I figured I would mention her (we're thinking it's a she, since it's a calico and all) to my flist and see if anyone wanted her. She looks healthy, good coat, and she's not exactly terrified of people. She started purring after we got her to the house and in one of the large dog crates. I would LOVE to keep her, but that's not terribly likely since we've already got four dogs and I'm a wee bit allergic to cats (we'll call it ODing on the cute, in her defense).

So please, please, please take her and love her properly if you can, because I don't think we can, and that makes me sad. :(
